Summer Voices | Jennifer McGuire

We’re on summer holiday and we’ve invited some of our friends to share their voices and projects here over the next 2 weeks. Say hello to Jennifer McGuire:
Clear stamps are definitely the most versatile tool in the crafting world. There are so many fun techniques you can use them for. One of my favorite simple techniques is one I call “cluster stamping.” Cluster stamping involves taking lots of stamp images (such as sentiments) and grouping them close together to create one-of-a-kind backgrounds that are perfect for your project. In this video, I share three examples of cluster stamping, including cards and Project Life pieces.
The first example shows the clustering of Ali Edwards sentiment stamps from Technique Tuesday to create a simple set of notecards.

The second project shows using the same stamp cluster for a couple of simple Project Life cards. (By the way, I just love those word bubble die cuts – they are sized perfectly for Project Life pockets!)

The third example shows how to use multiple colors of ink with cluster stamping. This is a great technique for mass-producing lots of colorful projects that look time-intensive but really aren’t.
I hope this inspires you to try cluster stamping. It is a great way to get more out of your stamps! Happy stamping.
