Are you ready to start thinking about the holidays?
I'm actually not ready whatsoever (focusing on Week In The Life first which is happening October 27th though November 2nd this year.)
But I do have one very favorite holiday tradition that just tends to work best when you plan ahead: December Daily®
This year I'll be using a kit of supplies that for the first time will be sold right here on my new website. It is available for pre-order now. I'm so excited about this.
I'll have much more info in the coming weeks including sharing my foundation pages just as I have in years past - which will likely happen in the beginning of November.

This is awesome. Out of curiosity will this kit ship via UPS? I live in Canada and USPS is painfully slow.... I totally need to have the foundation pages done well in advance of December...

Got on your site at 5:30am hoping for December Daily pre-order (heard it was "early October") and it wasn't up yet. Didn't get back on a computer till 1:30pm, saw the pre-order, squealed, and jumped on board. Past attempts to get kits thru Studio Calico were unsuccessful as they were always sold-out. I clicked "add to cart" FAST and held my breath - wasn't sure if it went thru, but it did - YAY! Going on blind-faith that it will be amazing, since everything else you create is. Would LOVE to see what the kit looks like though.

I loved this last year and am sure it will be just as good this year. Unfortunately for those of us in Australia the fall in our dollar makes the kit really expensive - not your fault or your problem but a fact of life for all of us Down Under - and with expedited postage to make sure we have it in time it will be $150. I think quite a few Aussies will struggle to justify this. I'm not complaining about the cost per se, as it is the same as last year for people in the US and that's good.

Ali, when in November will it ship? I'm in Australia and still waiting for your stamp set so would be disappointed if the kit arrived after 1 Dec. As you state in your video, it will be much easier if I can prepare the pages first so I'm not so stressed about it :) Thanks

I am also very interested in this and for the week in the life of I really want to do it over the same week but hoping it makes it here in time to Australia for both of them.
They will ship the first week of November.
The problem for us in australia is that our SC kits are sent at the beginning of the month and never arrive until some time in the following month, so for December Daily it would arrive too late. last year they were mailed on the first of October.
Yes it's a pity it wasn't shipped this month :( oh well, I'm sure I'll still buy it once I see more pictures!
Totally get that-- As you may guess, there was a lot of details to figure out with the timing of this new site and the design of the products and where responsibilities lied during the interim period so we are later releasing this than we had hoped. That said, we all thought later but still early enough to do product was better than compromising quality or value. I hope you agree when you see it all!
Surprised that your stamp set hasn't arrived. I'm in New Zealand and got mine 10 days after release. And that included the weekend. Ali's products are great. I am joining in with week in the life.
She is not the only one whose stamp set hasn't arrived - mine hasn't either 19 days - SC not fast tracked takes at least 20 days -fast tracked is a week because it sits in the warehouse in sydney until they feel like delivering it - usually 3-4 days.
We have the same problem with shipping to Canada - you wouldn't think since we aren't an ocean away, but same here with the Studio Calico kits - receive them sometimes 2 weeks into the month - not great.

I bought DD last year as a gift to myself, but the whole family enjoys looking at the ones I have made over the last couple of years, so it really is a gift that keeps on giving. If the kit is anything like the one available last year, you will indeed squeal with delight when you open the box. It is like a monthly SC kit on steroids! It makes it so easy and fun to complete the project. Two thumbs up.

SO excited! Hubby just surprised me & ordered my kit well our kit cause he knows ALL to well about December Daily. I was mumbling yesterday that you had the DD up and he said hmm Ali Edwards why do I know that name...lol Recently I had actually had to cancel all my scrappy subs since we are budget crunching so this was REALLY a big thing so I didn't even want to ask but he sent me the email and said he knows how important it is for me to document December for our kids. I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED!

I'm on the fence about ordering, as you say, it works bestwhen you plan ahead, and November shipping doesn't leave much time for that for those of us living outside the States. I can easily see myself having to finish my foundation pages before the kit arrives, using my stash or even ordering a second kit from a different store. I really want the album though, so I don't know what to do...
Is there an option to upgrade to express shipping? $8 doesn't sound very fast to me...

Wow. I was totally in until I saw the price....being a single poor person, I was excited when I saw this. Knowing -- or watching, as I don't know you, but have long admired you and Technique Tuesday...LOVED that it was affordable, but fun for all. I'm disappointed.

You might be pleased with the digital options, once they are available. I did Week in the Life a couple years ago - all digital, which made it very affordable. All the stuff in the kit is great, but you can totally do December Daily without all the extra stuff.

i've been having issues, too...the preorder button doesn't seem to work and i'm wondering if this does mean it is sold out? secretly hoping it is a website glitch ;) gah, that's really bad of me! crossing my fingers extra tight!
I had troubles ordering the Week in the Life kit. It was suggested that I use a different browser. Viola! It worked. Hope that helps.

Is there any chance of ordering the cards and not the album? $99. is just too much for me to spend. I really don't need the album, but love the cards you are showing and would like to order them.
