Video | A Closer Look At The 2014 Week In The Life Kit
Hey everyone! It's Katie. Ali is off traveling in Peru right now, and I wanted to pop in and share this video. This video will give you a closer look at the items that are available in the first ever Week In The Life Kit.
Week In The Life will be happening October 27- November 2nd. We can't wait to see what you all create with this kit!

EDIT | I just want to add that these albums are specific to the WITL kit, and even though they are similar, this is not an official unveiling of the new Studio Calico Handbooks. When the time comes, they will be revealing them to you guys. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused!
Week In The Life Digital Products are now available in the shop!
Two sizes of layered templates are offered this year: 6x8 and 8.5x11, as well as 4x6 overlays and some Week In The Life themed word art.

Another thanks for the kit and the super fast shipping to the UK (which allays any fears I had about the December Daily kit not arriving in time). I'm really excited to start the project now. Also, thank you Katie for the video.

I've got a paper in my mailbox today, apparently my kit is here!!!! (I'm pretty sure it's the WITL kit because my SC kit is already here!!) Can't wait to go to the post office!!!!

Hi Katie. This will be my first time doing Week in the Life and I am really excited. Thanks for the super helpful video. There is one thing I'm confused by, though: the stamps! In the video, it looks like the stamps are flat, like stickers. How do you use these? Can you demonstrate actually stamping them? Thanks in advance for your help with my question.

Susy and Katie, thank you so much. I so appreciate how kind and helpful this community is. Susy, the video was really helpful. I have only ever used traditional rubber stamps, so I was mystified when I saw the stamps in the kit. Now I'm really excited to try acrylic stamps and I'm off now to order an acrylic block.

Woo Hoo!!!! Mine arrived earlier this week. I was like a kid on Christmas morning opening it up! Waited until I had time when hubs and kiddo were out and sat at the table opening it piece.by.piece. But...so sad to say that my handbook is all crumbled up! The fabric on the spine is loose and the corners are all crunched. Other than that, it is one super-fab kit and I.CANNOT.WAIT! How can I go about getting a replacement handbook? ps Fab job on the video Katie!

Great job on the video Katie! I actually have a technical question. I was trying to finish up my 2012 Week in the Life before I start a new one. lol I can't figure out how Ali made the days-of-the-week banners transparent so the photo shows through the banner. For example, in the 2012 Week-in-the-Life examples you guys put up, Ali's "Friday" on the days-of-the-week banner, the "Friday" is see-through instead of solid white. I've played around with the opacity slider in PSE but I think I'm missing some important step. Thanks for any help that anyone can give to this fairly-new digital girl.

Hi - not sure what step you are missing because I was able to do that by changing the opacity as well. Make sure you are on the correct layer before changing the opacity - maybe that's it? Let me know -

I got my kit and its beautiful! Just a question, though...I only got 7-6x8 page protectors - should I have gotten 14? I looked at the sketch sheet that Ali provided and that's what it looks like. Thanks!

Hi! I revised my design plan (you can download the new one on the preorder page here: https://aliedwards.com/preorder/week-in-the-life) to accommodate the different styles that came with the album. I'll be ending with the 2x2 pocket page (vs. a full 6x8 page). My original plan called for 8 of the 6x8 full page pockets (the front is for one day and the back is for the next). Hope that makes sense!
