One Little Word® 2018 | The Reading Of The Words
Tags:
Today I bring you the annual reading of the words (collected from this post) by my friend Liz Lamoreux.
If you are still thinking about a word for yourself in 2018 I definitely recommend closing your eyes and listening to this list of words. There's magic in hearing them read aloud.
Listen to Liz read a list of the wordshere.
There's also still time to jump into my One Little Word® workshop for 2018. Get all the details about this year-long class to help you make your word visible here.
Also, the word I'm holding in the image above is from my friend Colleen Attara. She's been supporting this project for a number of years and she is simply a light in the world. I continue to love sharing her work with this community. If you are interested in something in my handwriting we do also offercustom acrylic words here, as well as a new necklace offeringhere.

I was actually considering Gelassenheit as my word, but the calling towards GENTLE was greater.

So happy to see my word: Do
I had a list of others written down in anticipation of OLW 2018 and one day last week the word "Do" just came to me. Such a tiny word, but means so much. "Do more of", "Do less of" "Do not do". The time honored Nike "Just Do It" is always in order. I saw a picture on IG that said Do not Quit with a strike through the word not and "q and u" in quit, that gets me to "Do It". . . the action of doing is so necessary for me in so many facets of my life.

SPACE - make SPACE (=room) in our home, declutter, organize, purge, donate ...
- find SPACE (=time) for myself to work, walk, practice yoga and write
- free SPACE in my mind with delegating, saying "No" and mindful breathing
