Today I'm telling a simple story of what's happening around here right now by creating a flip-open card on the back of the 5x7 photo of Elliott from yesterday. I paired a photo of my favorite nook in our house right now with some fun, graphic journaling on the inside.
This story is designed to go along with the embellishment tree I created in the December Daily® Product Play 2 workshop.
Here's a look at how it all turned out:
The outside of my flip-out card includes a photo, a merry + bright embellishment + some fun washi tape from Crate Paper.
On the edge of the photo I added a tab sticker from the December Daily® Sticker Bundle. Watch my video below to see the full process of creating this flip-out.
And on the inside:
I loved the designs included in Crate Paper's Merry Days collection and included their Fa La La paper on the inside of my flip-open card.
The font I used above is Blackout.

Hey, Ali!
As a finish to the fold-out, you could peel back the black washi and add just a thin strip of satin scotch tape to that edge and fold over. That'll take care of the stickiness, and then you can put your washi back on. You will hardly see it on the Day 12 side. Great layout, as usual!

Oh my gosh! Now I sure it is yours...The other day when I got out my phrase stamp I found I had 2 of them and I had only ordered one. The well used one must be yours as I hadn't used mine yet. It must have been at our table when we were cleaning up and got in all my DD paraphernalia to go home with me. I am so sorry. I PM'd you on the party facebook page to get an address, but I've never heard back so looked up online and have an address that I think (hope) is yours. I will send to you immediately tomorrow, I feel awful. So sorry!

Hi Ali - thank you for this. Especially seeing your thought process of "do I do this or that, will this work, let's just see" and then my favorite "I'm just going to let it go, but I'm not going to sing the song for you guys" said so matter of factly. Priceless! Great reminder about considering it done at some point, loving it as is, and knowing it's one piece of the whole. Hope you're having a great day!
