Listen Story Kit™ + June Stories By The Month™
In the Story Classroom this month we are focusing on stories related to the theme of Listen.
Here are a few thoughts about this particular theme:
A big piece of many of our lives are the sounds we hear as we go about our daily lives. Music, voices, and general noise of life fill our days. This month we are telling stories about listening and what that means to us in our lives.
Initial story ideas for the Listen theme include:
- Document what you are listening to right now. That might be a soundtrack or it might be other sounds in your life.
- Pay attention to conversations happening around you. Write one of them down and tell that story.
- Are you a good listener? What are the qualities that make up someone who is a good listener?

STORIES BY THE MONTH™
Stories By The Month™ kits now include 4x6 chipboard, 3x4 and 4x6 cards, a 3x4 stamp, a sticker sheet, and an embellishment (wood veneer, cork, etc). Subscribers were sent an email last month with information related to this adjustment, including the price increase and the option to cancel your subscription without penalty. If you have questions about this adjustment please reach out to my Customer Service Team. Stories By The Month™ Kits are all based on the designs we offered digitally each month throughout 2018.

This subscription is a great option for those who are looking to tell more calendar/everyday life sorts of stories.
ADD ON OPTIONS
This month we are making a change to our Add On options and making them available to all Story Kit™, Story Stamp™, and Stories By The Month™ subscribers (this excludes Digital Story Kit/Story Class subscribers since you don't have any part of your subscription shipped already). Please note that the Crafters Ink pad option will only be available to Story Stamp™ subscribers.
Our goal with this change is to decrease the overall amount of products offered as Add On's across all the kits but increase the quantities of the items we do offer with the hope that we will be making more of what you guys actually want (vs. more product overall). It's all still a work in progress.
Current and new subscribers can select + purchase Add-On's via your new drop-down menu access under your user name in the top right corner of the site. If you subscribe to more than one you will have a Box for each subscription and the ability to purchase Add-On's for each one. Depending on product availability subscribers may be able to purchase the Add-On's after the Add-On period has ended and regular shop shipping rates will apply because they will ship separately from the kit.

So excited for this kit! I cant wait to dive in on Wednesday. Question, where is that pink transparency (notebook/gridlines in pink) from on one of your projects? Totally digging that fun font in the cards and stamp set! And I love that pattern background stamp.

It is only one hour into the Add-On period and already one item--the one I'd buy, of course--is sold out. I give up.
Hi! I looked into why that one happened to sell out so fast today and here's what I found out/was reminded by Katie: When we decided to make the change (Add On's available to basically all subscribers) we needed to fill in a few product spots from existing inventory - this is only for the first few months of this change (because of how far ahead we work). After these first few months we have more new products being designed as Add Ons with much higher quantities. That word phase sticker sheet is actually a product from the Essentials kit: https://www.aliedwards.com/shop/essentials-kit (We've offered existing inventory as Add On options in some past months.)

Love these, and happy to be able to get a few Listen embellishments without actually subscribing to the kit. Sad the pink phrases ran out so soon. Next year, when you make the Story Month stuff, could you please consider ‘Summer Holidays’ as well as/or vacation for those of us who typically don’t use the word Vacation? Many thanks, and hope you have a lovely summer.

Love your kits! This is my first month getting the Stamp Story kit with the subscription. I read that we can order an ink pad add-on with that subscription but I didn't see any pads among the add-on options. Is there a ink pad option this month? How often are they offered?
You need to select the Story Stamp Subscription page in order to see the add-on stamp pad. You can click "My Story Stamp" from the My Account drop down list on the top right of any page. It doesn't show up in the other two subscription pages. I probably wouldn't have seen it either, but I always click each of my three subscription pages to watch her videos. "Listen" was my OLW last year, so I'm excited to get the kit and revisit it :)

The phrase stickers sold out extremely quickly- before 9:11 AM. Phrase stickers are a very popular item. This was the add on item for both the s kit and the s stamp. I subscribe to both. I would expect that planning that inventory should last until at least noon.
I read your post to the prior person on this topic. In the future, if you plan to make a change like that please let the loyal "story" subscribers know in advance so that they can plan accordingly, or if you dont have enough inventory, don't offer the item as an add on.
All that said, i do like the theme, and look forward to using it this month. Thank you for your passion for memorykeeping and inspiring others to do the same.
Thanks for the constructive feedback. We did post about this on FB and IG but I agree that we could have also sent out an email regarding the change in advance since not everyone is on social media. The inventory we had on that item (the stickers) was still within a range we considered appropriate to offer for sale, especially when we had four additional products. Again, appreciate the feedback and we will keep working on it!
