December Daily® 2019 | Story Seventeen

Welcome to story seventeen in my 2019 December Daily® album.

Sometimes the best way to tell your story is with just one sentence. Today's story is easy + fun and can work for all kinds of different stories you might encounter this season.

A quick reminder that you can check out my Foundation Pages post to see my general starting place for my project his year.

Here's a look at how this story came together:

There's always a point in December when Aaron and I come together to share what we've got and what we still need for our holiday celebration. Aaron is an intentional, creative gift giver while I tend to be a practical, "tell me what you want" gift giver. We did our list reconciliation last night and rather than using a photo I decided to play with stamping on a tag and going big with my text.

I used one of the large tags from the Main Kit (and trimmed the last page in story sixteen to this same shape). On top of that I added one of the 4x6 journal cards (cut out with scissors) and adhered it with foam dots. On top of that design I added a gold rimmed circle tag and added an embossed seventeen on top using a past Day In The Life™ stamp set. Red + white twine was added through the hole of the tag.

I used Educational Insights Alpha stamps to tell the story using red, green, and gold inks.
