Making Gelli Print Papers For Paper Crafting

In this week's Craft The Story video (Episode 16) I’m sharing how I play with gelli plates + paint to create papers to use in my memory keeping projects. I go over supplies I use, basic techniques, and then take you along with me as I create a variety of prints.

Also, heads up that my Hello Story 3 workshop starts on Tuesday! Come join me as I focus on creating scrapbook projects using cut paper, no photos, and repetition.

Let's dive in:

This is so cool!! I will watch this over again when I need to be inspired to play with my gelli plate. 😊 I'm thinkin about making several different pulls on different pieces of cardstock in different color families...then cutting them into circles...then cutting the circles into pie shapes...and reassembling them back into a circle. (Vicki Boutin just did a series of that idea but she didnt use a gelli plate.)

Thank you for taking this a little deeper to see how to actually do this! Is the paint archival safe though? I know you mentioned that the deli paper is probably not. Just curious. THANKS!! LOVED having you share this with us!!!

This is so great! thanks for sharing. How do you use the deli sheets in scrapbooking. Is the thinness of the "Paper" an issue?
