We are excited to reveal new changes to our Stories By The Month™ subscription and provide important pricing updates as we prepare for an incredible year of storytelling in 2023. Read below for a full overview of what you can expect on December 10th, 2022 and beyond.
Get ready for the official launch of our newest subscription, Inspiration By The Month™, coming on December 10th. This online class subscription will include the digital version of Stories By The Month™ and inspirational lessons using both the physical and digital kit by members of the Ali Edwards community.
We’re excited to welcome Lisa Varshine, Krystal Idunate, and Jen Wong as contributors for this class. Each of them will be sharing their projects and process videos. We will be looking for opportunities to invite other community members to contribute in 2023!
Inspiration By The Month™ will be replacing the digital Stories By The Month Subscription™. If you are a current digital Stories By The Month™ subscriber, your subscription will roll over to Inspiration By The Month™ automatically and the price will remain the same at $9.99 per month.
We’re also excited to announce that all physical Stories By The Month™ kit subscribers will be given access to the Inspiration By The Month™ class content as part of your subscription. Physical Stories By The Month kit subscribers will still have the opportunity to add on the digital Stories By There Month kit to their orders for $5 during the add on period.
Stories By The Month™ Exciting updates are coming to the Stories By The Month™ kit product assortment, based on subscriber survey responses and feedback. You can still expect to see a similar collection of products as before, but you will now notice 6x8 papers/vellum and a variety of embellishments.
As a physical kit subscriber your subscription now includes access to the Inspiration By The Month™class content.

Stories By The Month™ and Story Kit™ prices will be increasing by $2 beginning on December 10th at reveal. Our Customer Service team is happy to help with any questions or concerns. Please reach out by December 6th to make any changes to your subscription.

Wow! This is so exciting I have been adding the digital stories by the month kit to my story kit subscription (although I'm yet to use them - my storytelling mojo got lost this year). I am so excited by the look of the January 2023 products and having a class to provide inspiration. Thank you for all that you and your team do for memory keeping and inspiration! Love being part of this community.

Is there a change to the digital subscription for Inspiration for the Month to no longer have access to the digital Storykit as an additional add-on option? It appears to be an option for the Physical Kit for the Storykit but not Inspiraiton by the Month. In the past this was an option for the Digital Stories by the Month Subscription.

Correct, we're out in the cold :( You have to sign up for a subscription now if you want the new version of the Stories now Inspiration. Unfortunately, not worth the additional costs for me so I'm out. At least the change happened at the end of the year and not in the middle!
From the large amount of conversation here in the comments I would recommend that this might need a separate blog post and Facebook announcement. I think that there are many who would add the additional kits as an add on and this change has come as a surprise

I love the new designs, but I am very frustrated as a digital-only scrapbooker. I previously subscribed to Digital Stories By The Month, which rolled into the new Inspiration By The Month subscription, so I will continue getting the Digital SBTM kits through that. That's fine. HOWEVER, I can no longer get the Digital Story Kit as an add-on. Now I have to subscribe to the Story Class also. So, basically, to get what I was getting for $20/month (~$10 for the Digital SBTM subscription + $10 for the Digital Story Kit as an add-on) will now cost me $30/month (~$10 for the Inspiration BTM subscription plus $20 for the Story Class). I appreciate that Ali includes class content, but I don't use it. I only want the digital kits. $30/month is a 50% increase in price, and I think that's too much.
