Week In The Life™ | Ali’s Project Update

Hello community! I’m here today with a little Week In The Life™ update.

Normally I’m able to work on bringing my WITL content together right after the documenting week and originally I anticipated that this year would be the same. My personal preference is to tackle it right after the documenting week and that’s what I’ve been able to do most years for the last 20 I’ve completed this project.

This year has ended up being different due to the later release of the collection (later than expected in our original planning), design and content deadlines for other projects, and because my chapter of life is different and I’m navigating being needed in new ways.

I’m feeling extra grateful for your patience and for all the community support over the years we’ve been documenting this project together. I’m really looking forward to the creative challenge of finishing up my album and will share both here and on the blog.

I’m also looking forward to seeing what I learn through the process of extending the time between the documenting week and bringing it all together in an album. I’ll be paying attention to the takeaways and finding out what it’s like to not finish it up immediately.
