Subscriptions: How They Work

The Storyteller Kit, Storyteller Classroom, and Stamps Are Fun are limited edition subscriptions designed by Ali Edwards and geared towards memory keepers.

These subscriptions are intended to encourage and empower you to craft the stories of your life regardless of your scrapbooking approach.

The Storyteller Kit and Storyteller Classroom are quarterly subscriptions released in January, April, July, and October. There are not separate commitment levels as they are released quarterly. Storyteller Kit is $49.99 quarterly commitment. Storyteller Classroom is $24.99 quarter to quarter.

Those who subscribe to Storyteller Kit will receive the Storyteller Classroom for free. Subscribers to Storyteller Kit have the option to purchase the digital Storyteller Kit during the add-on period for $14.99.

Those who subscribe to Storyteller Classroom will receive the digital Storyteller Kit for free. The content of this subscription is spread out over three months to inspire you on your documenting journey.

Subscription pricing for Stamps Are Fun is dependent on the commitment level: month-to-month ($28.99/mo), 6-month ($23.99/mo) and 12-month ($20.99/mo – best value).

In Spring of 2017, we launched a brand new subscription feature—an option to purchase and bundle Add-On items to your monthly subscription order, for no additional shipping cost (both domestic and international subscribers).

The Stories By The Month™ kits cover many of the time-specific events that naturally happen in a calendar year. Designed to equip you with products perfect for your everyday memory keeping projects that serve as monthly motivation to craft more stories of your life.

Our Stories by the Month subscription will work a lot like our Story Kit™ and Story Stamp™ subscriptions, with varying commitment level options at different prices and the option to choose Add-Ons, but without an education component.

Subscription pricing is dependent on the

commitment level: month-to-month ($19.99/mo), 6-month ($17.99/mo) and 12-month ($15.99/mo – best value) Stories by the Month™ subscription commitments.

On the 10th all subscribers (The Storyteller Kit, Storyteller Classroom, Stamps Are Fun, & Stories by the Month™ kit) will have the opportunity to view and select Add-On items available for purchase which will be added to your monthly subscription order for no additional shipping fees. Subscribers will receive an email on that day directing you to the new subscriber-exclusive interface. From that interface, you'll be able to select and remove Add-On products to your box (while supplies last) from 12:00PM Eastern on the 10th to 11:59PM Eastern on the 11th. Any Add-On items remaining in your box at 12:00AM Eastern on the 12th will be charged and shipped (in the case of Storyteller Kit, Stamps Are Fun, and Stories by the Month™ Kit subscribers) with the monthly kit subscription. Digital subscribers will be able to add digital items to their digital story kit during the selection period (please note that these will become available to you under your My Digitals at the time your card is processed on the 12th).

On the 12th of every month we'll collect payment of the base fee stated next to the level of commitment plus the cost of any selected Add-Ons (see the "Your Box" example below for a visual).

On the 12th of every month, Digital Story Kits™ and digital Add-Ons will be available for download.

On the 12th of every month or the nearest business day, we will pack and ship all Story Kit™ and Story Stamp™ subscription orders along with selected Add-Ons.

You may add or remove Add-On items freely during the selection period, but at 12:00AM (midnight) Eastern on the 12th, any items remaining in your box will become your finalized selections and will be charged to your method of payment and included in your shipment (when applicable). A pop-up box (shown below) will remind you of this, each month, upon placing your first Add-On item in your box.

How does the kit Add-On work?

At 12:00PM Eastern time on the 10th of every month, new subscriptions will be released in the shop. Subscribers will have the opportunity to view and select Add-On items available for purchase and add them to their monthly subscription order for no additional shipping fees. The selection period for Add-On items will be from 12:00PM Eastern time on the 10th through 11:59PM Eastern on the 11th.

On the 12th of every month during your subscription, we'll collect payment of the base fee stated next to the level of commitment plus the cost of any selected Add-Ons. Please review your selected items in your box before the choosing period ends at 11:59PM Eastern.

On the 12th of every month, digital Add-Ons will be available for download from your My Digital Files.

What happened to kit customization?

Kit customization (offered in early 2017) has been replaced with our newer kit Add-On feature.

What happens if I miss out on the selection period for Add-Ons or if the Add-On items sell out?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to manually add "Add-On" items to your order if they are not selected between 12:00PM Eastern on the 10th through 11:59PM Eastern on the 11th. Pending available inventory, subscribers may still purchase featured Add-Ons after the choosing period has ended, however, these items will be treated as a new order and will incur a shipping charge. The Add-On items are while supplies last.

Will I get to see the new Storyteller Kit, Storyteller Class, Stamps Are Fun, and/or the new Stories by the Month™ kit prior to making Add-On selections?

Yes! These will now be revealed on the 10th, at the start of the Add-On selection period. This means—unlike before—you will get to view the entire kit or stamp while making any Add-On selections.

I am not a subscriber, can I purchase these items?

The featured Add-On items are exclusive to physical kit subscribers.

The featured digital Add-Ons are exclusive to only Digital subscribers.

As a subscriber, can I purchase an Add-On item from any of the subscription options?

No, you will only be eligible to purchase Add-On items from the subscription type you subscribe to.

(i.e.- A Storyteller Kit subscriber can only purchase the Storyteller Kit Add-Ons, A Stamps Are Fun subscriber can only purchase the Stamps Are Fun Add-Ons, etc.)

I get the Digital Storyteller Kit for free, since I subscribed to Storyteller Classroom. Can I purchase the Digital Storyteller Kit Add-Ons?

Yes. You will be able to purchase the Digital Storyteller Kit Add-Ons during the selection period. These add-ons can be viewed on your subscriber exclusive interface.

How many Add-Ons are there?

You’ll have the option to purchase from the featured items to add to your order for that month. These featured items will be a mix of new, coordinating products, and shop staples. There is no limit on the quantity of each item you may purchase, while supplies last.

When will my credit/debit card be billed?

You credit/debit card will be billed on the 12th day of each month.

I selected an Add-On item, but have since changed my mind. Can I cancel the selection?

You may add, edit, or remove Add-On selections between 12:00PM Eastern on the 10th and 11:59PM Eastern on the 11th. After that time, any items placed in your box will be added to your monthly charge and your shipment.

When will my kit be shipped?

On the 12th of every month or the nearest business day, we will begin packing and shipping all Storyteller Kit, Stamps Are Fun, and Stories by the Month™ kit subscription orders.

When can I access the Storyteller Classroom?

The Storyteller Classroom will open at 12:00AM Eastern on the 15th each month.

When can I access/download my digital files?

Digital Storyteller Kits and purchased digital Add-Ons will be available for download at 12:00AM Eastern on the 12th of each month, in your My Digital Files folder.

Will I be charged shipping on orders including the subscriber Add-On items?

For all domestic orders, the Storyteller Kit, Stamps Are Fun, and Stories by the Month™ kit will ship for free, including subscription orders with selected Add-Ons during the choosing period. A $5 processing fee will be charged for each Storyteller Kit, Stamps Are Fun, and Stories by the Month™ kit subscription order shipping outside of the United States. If subscribers purchase Add-On items after the choosing period has ended, those will be treated as a new order and will incur shipping fees.

How does the subscription wait list work?

If you have been placed on our wait list, all of our subscription spots are filled at that time. As soon as a spot becomes available, your subscription will begin with that newly-available kit.

Please note: This means you may not receive this month’s kit—your subscription may start with a future theme/kit.

Your account will be charged on the 12th of your first active month or when your subscription is activated from the wait list.

During your first month, you will not be eligible to select Add-On items, given that your activation date will most likely fall outside of the Add-On selection window. However, you will be eligible in subsequent months as your subscription continues.
