Live juicy.

I read a great little article today in the back of SHAPE magazine (December 2004). It was about enjoying "the nectar of life." Kinda like carpe diem..."about not merely living your life, but going for the juice." Reminded me once again that I need to get out more :).

Had some juicy living today with Simon on a trip to the grocery store. One we visit is right next door to a Goodwill. We often stop in and check out the toy selection...you never know what treat you may encounter. And today was our lucky day. Simon is now the proud owner (chosen all on his own I might add) of a Barbie VW Bug and a small baby doll that barely fits in as the driver. That dude was all over this car and the baby. There was no getting out of there without the car. It was cool. I was totally happy to get it for him (and a couple pairs of jeans for him and a cool Christmas tree thing for me). He walked all the way to the front of the store with the VW in one hand and the doll in the other...a big difference from normal times when I have to carry him or risk a bolt. Totally put a smile on my face. The best toys have already been loved.

Now that, is juicy.
