Celebrate the season.
Tags:Having a child is a pretty amazing experience. This morning we met up with a couple friends that Simon and I had met when we used to go to Gymboree. Decorating cookies was the goal. We did this last year too - it is amazing how many things can be so different and still so much the same over a year. Last year Simon was totally into decorating; this year he pretty much just wanted to eat them or play with the toys. Jessica loved dumping all the sprinkles (as in the whole bottle) onto her cookies. And Max, well he was pretty much just into the toys too. Always nice to catch up with friends.
Been away from the computer a bit the last couple days. Feeling myself being on here too much again. And each time I sit down to work on the directions for my CKU-A album I seem to spend more time surfing than writing...that is not helping me at all.
I signed books at a scrapbook store in Portland last Saturday. Cute store called Lifes A Scrapbook in Sherwood. Love being able to sit and chat with people about scrapping...and I always come home with more supplies (like I need more of those - sheesh). I am always inspired after these visits. Always come home wanting to scrap. This is good. I need that sometimes.
Getting ready to have some company this weekend. John, Liz and Jessica are all headed this way. Need to make myself a big to-do list for the rest of the week, including wrapping.
I'll leave you with some sweet treats :).
