Red.

After driving down to Roseburg to sign some books this morning I took a little detour into the town of Oakland, Oregon. Tiny town. So wishing that I had my camera with me. That will teach me for sure. Great little antique stores. Browsing galore. One of my favorite things is wandering around antique stores. My find today is this red stool. Awesome. Perfect red paint. Perfect height for Simon to sit at our island. Perfect for me to use at my studio table. And the price was pretty decent too.

To top the day off, this evening I found these.

So today was good. It is always good to get out of the house and on the road, even if it is just an hour down the road. I usually come home inspired. Driving in the car gives me time to think without the distractions of work, laundry, etc. I even came up with a couple gift ideas.

And of course, Simon is running around naked right now.
