Simon and I are headed to a Communication/Language Assessment this morning for his Regional Autism Evaluation. His initial diagnosis was a medical one...now we need an educational diagnosis to be eligible for services (paid for by the state). This is partly related to the fact that CDRC was not able to get any scores for him due to his unwillingness to participate...and that he seems to be "on the edge" of the spectrum...it is just not obvious that he has "classic" autism (this is why there is a spectrum). So it should be interesting...

Mom is coming tonight on her way back to the beach. We always look forward to her visits. She has been bitten by the scrapbooking bug now...and has been having fun putting pages together.
