Tags:After tons of positive recommnedations about this book I picked it up in Salt Lake last weekend. It is an amazing story: haunting, passionate, timeless. I am not quite finished yet - actually I am taking some time to get farther along and hopefully finish it this evening. It is one of those stories that sticks with you.

Ali, that is one of my favorite books...like you said...haunting, funny and unique. And, quite possibly, one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever read. I couldn't put it down. If you enjoy stories with complex characters with real, complicated lives, you would also enjoy "The Dive Off Clausen's Pier". Another favorite.
