Captivated.

This morning I thought I would share a few things that have been captivating me lately.
• the daffodils : I am feeling really lucky that I was here to see them bloom - there only seem to be there for a bit before they vanish. These ones pictured here are along the back of our house in hanging baskets my Dad made for me last summer (thanks Dad).
• Jamie Waters : Jamie is on the Garden Team with me at Two Peas (scrapbooking not gardening). Each month we create scrapbooking layouts based on a theme - for March the theme is circles. I just love what Jamie did with her pages - she has a very creative way with her work. So skilled at using white space. It is just so cool. Loved this one: What You Like. You can see her full Garden Gallery here.
There were SO MANY good pages in the Garden this month. And what I loved about them is the diversity of detail in how they attacked the question of a circle. So many great approaches. Here are just a few of my favorites:
Snippets : Tina Barriscale
Just What You Needed : Jamie Waters
Pineapple : Lisa Brown Caveney
Friends Forever : Kimberly Owens
Magic : Margie Scherschligt
I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You : Jackie Bonette
Happy Birthday, Daddy : Jen Lessinger
A is for Anne : Anne Heyen
Everyday Moments : Allison Kimball
My Favorite Photo : Tracy Kyle
...Cathchin' Flies?... : Carrie Owens
That Thing You Do : Terrie McDaniel
Treasured Gift To My Soul : Marilyn Healey
Also just want to mention how thankful I am to be a part of the Garden. The friendships I have made with the other women are amazing. I count my blessings on that one everyday. And the creativity is awe-inspiring. So many, many details. Each one with their own special talents and unique gifts.
• Bo Bice. He is rockin American Idol. Love the dude.
• AND...Martha goes home Saturday.
• Rhonna's new digital kits on Two Peas are so cool. Played with the first one last night - the brushes are amazing (they created the layering on the photo above - all I did was select the brush and click it right onto my photo making it totally applicable to manipulating your photo for traditional scrapbooking). The kit comes with everything you need to create digital scrapbook layouts + they are all high-resolution so you can print them out for paper layouts as well. Her first kit is called: Sweet Pea.
• FontWerks. A sweet friend of mine, Kah-Mei, has created an awesome stamp and paper company with a very cool looking website. One of her new stamps is an awesome doodle collection that includes a circle I am all-over right now (the big one). Sweet, sweet stuff.
• I am also captivated by a link that Tina had in her blog the other day: The Peacemakers. Something to spend some time looking through when you have a chance.
That should do it for now. I am always in the midst of being captivated by something. Now I need to go finish up my last minute CKU things. And I am so excited because Carrie is coming to meet me at CKU-A on Saturday. Totally looking forward to hanging with you sista.

Garden was awesome as usual...always inspiring.
Bo Rocks!!! My husband said he would give me $100 if I knew the name of the original group. Just a little before my time gosh darn it! I said, if you asked anyone of those kids in the "audience" who the Allman Brothers were they would probably say "Almond Brothers?". Hope he goes far!
