Golf + Hot Dogs.

Golf was ALWAYS on in my house and my grandparents as I was growing up! The tradition continues in our home today. Here's to golf and dads everywhere!

Not a big golf fan but know a lot of people who are. My hubby and I just got done watching the Chicago Cubs defeat the Toronto Blue Jays so it was a lovely afternoon for us! Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!

Too funny - that was also MY afternoon. Only we watched golf while visiting my Dad. But now we are home, cooking hot dogs on the grill, and hubby is chipping golf balls in the back yard. Awesome day. Glad you enjoyed yours, too.

LOL! We watched golf as well, right after our lunch at Rudy's Barbeque. Joe got a Father's Day nap in as well.

I didn't but the rest of the men at my sister's house watched golf...and we ate some great BBQ ribs on the grill (and had a few beers too!) We watched the kiddos swim and had a great day. Sorry Simon is sick...but it sounds like you made the best of it! Good for you! Happy Father's Day.

Spent the day with my grandchild, son, and my daughter in law. The day was over shadowed by how reflective we were about Tim Russert's passing. Our hearts and prayers are with his family on his untimely passing. As my friend who is a nurse at Children's Hospital always says "God must have needed more angels".

This isn't really a comment about your post...just a question -- how about Obama/Edwards on the Democratic ticket? And I don't mean John!

So agree... I don't think that we've ever talked about having that in common. Nothing better than watching golf on a Sunday afternoon. Growing up, I would go to church, play a round, and then watch the end of the tournament on TV either at the clubhouse or at home. And what an exciting ending it was today!!!

Golf has always been a big part of our lives too. It would be one thing that my Dad and I would watch together on TV when were kids. Now my husband is into golf too and he is hoping our kids will enjoy it too. So far our 3 year old seems to be interested. But only time will tell!

We did the same thing for father's day - Enjoyed the golf, wishing Rocco would have won - but great to also have another round today. We had bbq chicken - Brody had a hot dog. Couple a beer, doesn't get much better than that.

Made your Celebrating Everyday Life Shutterfly photobook for my hubby for Father's Day and he LOVED it! I was so excited to give it to him that I couldn't wait until Sunday so I gave it to him Saturday night. Worked out nicely so he could peruse it w/o distractions from the kids. He appreciated the time & effort put into making it--made me feel so good. :-) Thanks for the great templates to make a memorable book! Can't wait for you book to come out in August.
