Two words & a question.

Two Words:STING ROCKS.

We were less than 100 feet away from this awesome living legend. I could see him clearly. See the expressions on his face. He sang only old stuff - a bit from the Police but mostly his own songs. His voice is magic. I kept wondering what his life would have been like if he had not been using his gift? Loved it. Also loved that we ran into a couple of old friends we had not seen in ages - they were two rows in front of us. We went out for beers with them afterward to catch up. A great ending to a super cool evening.

And my question:where in the hell does all the dirt & dust come from?

Spending the day cleaning up around here. Chris does such an awesome job caring for Simon...he is working on the clean-up-while-you-play gig. So needless to say I came home to a mess - but it is all good. A good way for me to get back in the groove around here.

And a random: One of my favorite things yesterday was getting off the plane in Eugene, walking through the terminal and seeing Chris and Simon. Simon yelling MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM and then running like crazy to me (enough to cause the security person to jump up - as if a three year old had an agenda in busting through the gates LOL). Love having them be there when I arrive in the airport.

He did great going to school this morning - the first time I can remember in ages. Walked right in the classroom and grabbedhis soy milk and sat down in his seat for snack. Usually when I drop him off he either lays on the ground in protest or hangs over the baby gate until his teacher comes over and starts tickling him. Man it was a great feeling to just have him sit right down.

So back to cleaning for now...
