One of those days.
Tags:Slept in until 11am. Yep, you read that right.
I actually got up with Simon at 6:30. Came downstairs. Got him juice and cereal. Laid on the couch for a bit until I heard Chris get in the shower. Went back upstairs and climbed into bed. Told Chris I was going to lay down and I was out.
Bless his heart, he let me sleep. He got Simon dressed. Took him to school. And then came home and took care of the odds & ends left over from when I paid the bills last night. Awesome.
So now that I am up I am having one of those disconnected days. Have no idea what I am supposed to be working on...what is coming up on my calendar, etc. Moved the laundry around. Piled the clean stuff on our bed. Ate a peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich and drank some tea. Talked to Cathy on the phone. Walked around the house a couple times thinking about how dirty the carpets looked and how our vacuum needs some serious attention. Listening to Green Day and Matchbox 20 that Chris downloaded last night. Good stuff. Playing it loud. Thinking about working out. Needing to make a list. Get myself together. Or not.
Something is percolating in me again though. I can feel it. Some sort of shift. Hoping it is book ideas. But not sure. Just have the feeling that I am on the edge of something new...or a re-emphasis of something old.
Have another art journal page in the works on my desk. About risk. One thing I love is that I am forced to slow down a bit because of the supplies I am using. Wait for things to dry. Meld together.
So here I am.
A Tuesday. Just one of those days.

Days like that are important!
Spring has sprung and along with it is change, growth and new beginnings. Go with the flow for a bit to see where it leads you. After some floating time with that...then jump on your schedule. You'll feel anew and alive. Lovin' your art journal pages. Still trying to figure out how to get mine uploaded on writtendown.
