Time for another installment of what is making me happy, keeping me going, inspiring, making me laugh, essential to making it through my day, etc.                                                          Wallpapermarigolds_1

Veer Desktop Wallpaper
: I am continually searching for a cool selection of interesting images
to put on my desktop. Most of the time I have good old Mac grey or a
light blue. But man that has been getting boring. During the last week
I have had two people mention Veer
to me. Went over to their site - checked out all the coolness - and
found that they have a large selection of desktop wallpaper that made
me so HAPPY. Above are some of my favorites - the red rooster is on my
desktop right now.

Pigment Pro Pens from American Crafts. This is my current favorite black pen - .03 is my tip size of choice. I also have .01 and .05 that I reach for depending on my needs at the moment.

Domino Magazine. Have you guys seen this yet? My friend Sara gave her copy to me last weekend - it is totally cool and inspiring. It is technically a shopping magazine for your home - in the same genre as Lucky (fashion shopping magazine). I flagged a whole bunch of pages (literally - it comes with cool little tabs to mark things you see that you like) that had interesting design ideas. Made my heart pump a  bit faster.

Post-it® Notes. What would I do without these little yellow squares? I made a special trip to the store to get some the other day because I NEEDED them and none could be located around here.

Slow Food. A sweet reader sent me a link to this site the other day. Their motto: live slow. Here is a little blurb off their home page:

Totally in line with my thinking lately. Simon and I are heading to the Farmer's Market tomorrow morning to get our veggies and soak up the organic scene. I have been doing pretty good (minus last weekend's adventure LOL) about being conscious of the food that is going into my body. Makes me feel good. And the exercise is helping too.

The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. Fascinating non-fiction read about how little sparks of ideas can spread like wildfire. I ordered this one and as soon as it got here Chris picked it up and has not let go of it yet. I read just the beginning but it sounds totally interesting. I have so many books sitting on my bedside table right now...

Orscrapbookconventionjpg• New friends...I met some really nice women at the Oregon Scrapbook Convention back in
March. A couple of them are coming over to scrap and hang out tonight -
totally looking forward to getting to know them better.
