Gotta love fun. Good old fashioned getting together with friends.
Fun friends. Fun food. Fun music (over and over again). Fun drinks. Fun house.
Went to Portland for a birthday party Saturday night honoring two of our friends: Kyle and Jonathan - as seen above in the ultra-fun party hats. The beautiful lady on the bottom left is Jonathan's wife Heather. She is a good-fun party planner. Especially cause she had ice-cream cakes.
And then there were the pinatas. Seriously fun. Hurt your stomach laughing fun. Kyle chose the Sponge Bob - we brought the scary clown (so glad to see that one go).
The young man with the bottle above is Kyle again. Love him. Chris has been friends with him since high school. He gets a little silly on his birthday. Silly Kyle is crazy-fun Kyle.
The beautiful girl on the top right is Robin. Love her too. She is married to Michael, a friend of ours from college. A very fun friend indeed. The kind you always want to have around.
And the man on the bottom right is mine.
He was creating his signature lemon drops. And man, those are very fun.
A great father. An authentic man. Love him...through everything...fun and not so fun.

Okay, you should totally stop stealing photos from the Martha Stewart Living magazine, digitally enhancing them with photos of yourself and your husband, claiming that the MODELS are your friends and then putting them out here for all of us to see! ;-> heeheehee
Okay, you know that I'm kidding but SERIOUSLY - how do you get your husband to wear shirts like that?! It's so artsy-fartsy looking... and it looks so good on him! WHAZZUP WIT DAT?! :-D

What fun!! Ali, I guess everyone else already said what I wanted to say about your fabulous photos. What's the secret to getting that look? Can I do it with a point-and-shoot digital or do I need a professional camera and a photography degree?
I've been LOVING your blog since I discovered it a couple of months ago. Love your book and your work, too. Thanks for being such an inspiration.
