Camping is good for the soul.
Tags:Yep, that fresh air just does something good.
We ended up on a last minute camping adventure to Southern Oregon with my good friend Amy, her family, and some of their friends. Sleeping outside. Eating "camp" food. Watching Simon get DIRTY. Swimming. People around the campfire at night. And just generally being away from home and the computer and the routine of life and computer and cell phone.
So, so good for all our souls.

I grew up with camping as our family vacations and completely agree...it IS good for the soul. Nothing beats freash air, a tent and the simplicity of it all.

Camping might be good for the soul, but the Ritz-Carlton works ok too! :)
Better yet -- I'll take a little house on an island of Hawaii! Only 26 days! Woohoo!

Such a sweet blog. I started scrapbooking a little over a year ago. My pages are not nearly as creative as yours, but I am work in progress. I like the idea about a picture a day, but I am not so sure that I would be so good at keeping up with it. Maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks for the idea, I look forward to seeing more posts from you in the future. Take care.

It doesn't get much better than lounging around the campfire!
And, hey, it was fun to *see* you at the pea sale!

You know it! Camping is manna from heaven for the soul. Disconnecting from the craziness, business of everyday life and connecting with those you love and nature. SO good. Way to be spontaneous, even with a deadline looming - good for you!

I've always been a fan of dirt myself....but even more so since I had Kaden! ;-) There aren't many kids that go to bed just because you promise them that they can "play in the dirt again tomorrow if they hurry and go to sleep!" LOL!
