and popping in for a moment. Crazy, busy day.

Wanted to post this cool quote sent to me by Sam:

Embrace this right now life……take your bites with bravery and boldness since the learning and the growing are here in these times, these exact right nows.  Capture these times.  Hold and kiss them because it will soon be very different.
Jill Scott

In her email Sam wrote, "Oddly enough, I found this quote on my Starbucks coffee the day I was dropping my youngest to school for the first time.  I was feeling really lost walking away and kind of directionless....so used to having to do something for my kids at all times, having someone with me, on my leg, in my arms, talking a mile a minute etc.  I went to get a coffee, and there it was.....can't say that was the first time I was inspired by coffee!  I feel much better about changing my direction since my out-of-coffee experience. I did a page about it, which also helped me focus."

Gotta love the way inspiration comes in so many different forms. And gotta love the process. A good reminder to me when I get a little nutty about my life and work and family and on and on.

Thanks so much Sam :)

That quote couldn't have come at a better time for me! Down in the dumps, trying to shake this dull feeling. This sudden financial stress is definately teaching us....
    Just wanted to say thanks!

I love this quote. The morning I found it on my coffee I felt so inspired. I shared it with all my work friends. Then I saved the cup it came on... it's been sitting on my desk at home for a couple weeks now. Then last night I finally came up with a page to use it on. What a coincidence. Thanks for sharing this with us, these are definitely words to live by.

So True!! My little one starts Kindergarten next Wednesday. We have been "counting sleeps" for ages now *grin* It's hard not to get caught up in routine and forget to cherish the little moments that bring so much joy. Thanks for the reminder (and pass the thanks on to your friend for sharing as well).
    Have a great day!!!

Wonderful quote! Thanks for sharing! Funny how it relates to all of us. My babies are grown and new parents of their own sweeties. I am trying to embrace everyday with these little ones. I love my life. I miss when my sweet ones went off to school. I cried the day I left them at kindergarten. And...I remember it like it was yesterday. I cried when they left for college too. What would be my purpose in life?? Who would need me? I was thrilled to do their laundry when they came home for a visit. Life comes full circle. They live 5 minutes away from them now and they have a house full of babies (3 under the age of 2 including twins) and they NEED me!! I am in heaven every day. I cherish every day.
"Capture these times. Hold and kiss them because it will soon be very different."
I have learned this and try to remember it everyday. Thanks for the quote.

I just took my one and only child to college this week. Thanks for the encouraging and enlightening quote, Ali. And thank you, Maureen W., for your words. It helps to hear that others have had the very same thought--"what will be my purpose?".

Love that quote, Ali! Thanks for sharing it. Makes me think of how I feel about my own life right now. I'm in a good spot at the moment, embracing my life as it is. Looking back on all the events that have shaped me into who I am and finally understanding that I am the person I am today because of it. I like the me of right now, she is a pretty cool gal. Took me awhile to come to terms with that, but the journey has been well worth it. I'm going to use this quote on a page very soon...thanks again for sharing. You just never know where inspiration will come from!
