It's about the stories...

Has anyone else noticed this awesome new ad campaign from Fiskars? Ads have been appearing in scrapbooking magazines lately and they have totally caught my attention.

Why? Because they get it.

It is less about the tools (even though their tools are awesome) and more about the stories. It is about the passion we feel as artists, crafters, writers, creators, etc. It is about encouraging us to keep creating.

In their booth at CHA they had a bunch of the ads blown up and framed (like the above photo). Great branding strategy. I have even been ripping the ads out and putting them in my inspiration folder - just a little something making me happy.

EDITED: Also wanted to add in a couple things I loved from the show that I remembered as I was organizing all my stuff this morning. First, everything from American Crafts. They already make my favorite Pigment Pro pens...and now they have come out with a double tip pen that is possibly going to be my new favorite: Memory Markers (looks they are not up on their site yet). I will keep you posted. And then there are the rub ons...and the papers...and the ribbon.

And then there was Chatterbox. Seriously loving the patterns - and their very cool transparent/patterned die cut letters. Sigh. Happiness.
