Ali, couple things, I just found your blog thru Kelly Popp's blog site and read the post office incident you had with Simon. Just as I had similar with my grandson on my first time out, alone, w/him he was about 2 and a half. He did all the same things, laid on the floor, kicked, screamed, called me a mean grammy cuz I wouldnt leave store right then & there and take him to the ice cream place, and when you hold them too tight it's 'you are hurting me gramma, you are holding me too tight' and e/one eye balls you like you are the monster (grand)mom, how true is all that? Enjoyed your recap of the event though, anyone who's a mom or grandmom has been in very same place.
Another new topic: could not figure out if I subscribe to CK mag or not but found a couple issues at my home that I think I purchased in a magazine clearance stack at another store couple years back and who's picture do I spy in there - you, woman of scrapbook godess'ness that you are - with a picture of your husband and how he did not support you at first in your 'hobby' but gradually came round! The whole article was answering a reader's q about how to get your spouse to u/stand your slight madness about this little craft we luv so much. You looked great and he's kinda' cute for a young guy!! Hope to see you back in Michigan soon, Ali.
