Ali - so sorry about your luck! It's only 106 here in Athena (near Pendleton, OR) and it's still not suppose to cool off until Tuesday. Have a safe trip to SLC! I hope your dh and ds are staying cool! As my son says "Huggy??" Hope everything cools off for you! You could be in Tualatin or Sherwood where their power went out. Good, cool thoughts going your way!!

118 in Phoenix, but only 112 today. Looking forward to two weeks on a lake in Wisconsin...can't wait for next Monday!

i can't believe it's that hot in OR! hwvr, you're getting at taste of what you will "enjoy" in the ATL. thank goodness CKU takes place INSIDE. i thought i was going to melt today... and it was only in the high 80s. that humidity will getcha every time, girl!

it was 115 here on saturday. not sure why i bothered to shower! it was so hot, my hubby suggested that we move to Oregon. looking forward to winter. until then my clean laundry will be in the freezer;)

I can totally relate to being hot and crabby!! It has been 100+ for quite some time here in Las Vegas and I am 8 months pregnant. I really wanted to get in the pool today, but for some reason they closed it, UGH!! A walk in freezer sounds really good...
Hang in there Ali, soon you will be in SLC and then ATL. You can crank up the AC in your hotel room. Poor Chris and Simon have to stay home and deal with the AC repair.

Ali, girl, be thankful you have air... and it will work again eventually. It totally sucks without it (and no glimmer of it). Been couch lizard'ing with family to enjoy their air, and really getting to the point... just want time back at my home with my stuff. ;)
