Hey Ali, Heat can make even the best of us cranky! I had to tell you that I jumped to your blog this a.m. to "see what Ali's up to" and then remembered you're on the road....How funny is it that you don't know me, but I look forward to your posts everyday and I probably know what you're up to better than what my out of state family is up to. Thank you for your inspiration! Oh, just got your book last week! LOVE IT!

I don't know how you do it - I'm not a good traveler and to be home for just a few hours would do me in. Especially traveling in the heat - it is HOT here in Salt Lake, too, though they are saying we might get out of the triple-digits this week. Hope you have a great week! :)

I feel your pain...I am in AZ and my AC went out last night. Had to pack up the family and stay in a hotel. And guess what? Tomorrow is the earliest they can get here!! Oh well-I guess we can look at it like a mini-vacation. Have a safe trip and a great time in Atlanta!! (you know they have AC)

I hear your pain on a couple levels! The heat for one - we are way tooooo hot here in Ventura - we don't get hot just like you don't usually. I leave in the morning too for CKU, so see you there! YEAH!

Ali, if it makes you feel any better it's not *quite* that hot here in the South right now. Just humid, humid, HUMID! Too bad you live on the other coast...I'd send my dh out to check your a/c for ya. Aaah, the benefits of being married to a heating and air guy. The only thing I can tell you is change your filter, make sure the breaker hasn't tripped, check the batteries in your thermostat and check for fire ants in your unit. That's the scope of my hvac knowledge. Here's to hoping you have cool air soon!!!

Absolutely feel your pain - it was 116 on Saturday, 112 on Sunday, 111 on Monday here...but at least we have A/C! Take heart in the fact where you're going will have A/C. :)
