As an Aussie living in the US, I encounter this kind of thing ALL the time...my biggie is how here you say standing "on line"-there's no line to stand on! You stand "in line" in Australia as all your bodies make the line...You stand in line to get a take away coffee. HA! I now find I have 2 or 3 different words for so many things...light globes or light bulbs...I get very confused.

Wow, nice to hear you are getting a chance to visit my neck of the woods. The foliage out here is fabulous this year. I live on am small lake in CT and look out on the rainbow of fall colors and the gaggle of geese all around the lake. Where in Danbury??? tha's not too far from me??
