A couple things...
Tags:Gotta love modern technology. Simon has been developing a fondness for chatting with Cathy on the computer. A couple days ago he had a full-on "Simon" conversation with her - including singing the ABC's and Itsy Bitsy Spider. As you can see, Cathy was having just as much fun as Simon.
Here's a couple other updates on stuff:
1. Pencil Lines is a cool sketch site to check out. I did a sketch for them this week. Love seeing how each of the designers interpreted the sketch - one of the coolest things about using sketches is totally how different people can make them.
2. Scrap Bowl/Get Croppin Event in VA - February 2007. Sign ups started for this event on Saturday - check out classes from Donna, Margie, and Danelle. I had an awesome time there last year and am so looking forward to going again.
3. There are new stamps available at Cats Life Press. If you have taken a class with me in the past you may know about my affection for these stamps. Yum. And I love that she is located here in Oregon.
4. Tomorrow is election day. Seriously, I can not believe it is really here. It has been such a road this last year and a half. I have tons of thoughts going on in my head - need to get them all together in a more comprehensible manner before letting them out into the universe. There is a lot at stake in this election - locally and nationally. If you live in Oregon make sure you drop off your ballot (we have vote by mail and it is too late to mail your ballot now). And to the rest of you in the US - make sure you vote.
5. I love this: This I Believe (can't you see an entire miniBOOK based on this topic). Here's a link to the specific site: This I Believe. And a direct link to the book: This I Believe (the book)
6. Newsletter coming later today.

How do you do that with modern technology, chat on the screen. I am so behind with technology. Amazing.
Good Luck with your honey, Chris for his election. Stay in the faith and confidence.

Just walked in the blustery wind to drop off our ballots minutes ago with my honey, missing the latest rain storm. It's a record for us I think---last vote we handed our ballot to the collector seconds before the courthouse bell rang (she said once it rang time to vote was over---we wondered if it was the first or 8th ring she was going by...) Sure wish Chris was on our ballot, but we're just out of his district. Hoping the best for him! Would love to see his name on the ballot for governor some day soon!!

I love This I Believe - I read the 1950's book last year and was struck by how some truths...are just that. I love my Monday morning drives to work because of TIB - and the archives are a little slice of heaven.
I will keep your family in my thoughts and I know that all the hard work you all have done over these last months (years really!) will pay off! Keep us posted!

There are so many real people out here in cybyerspace, in Oregon or not, that love to keep up with you, your art and your family and values... and we really care that your husband does well tomorrow. I'm one of those. Good luck. Remember, whatever happens he,like you,is a Winner.
