Thank you for what you are doing for autism. I just donated for both Simon and my 17 year old son, Scott who was diaginosed with Asperger's at the age of 11. He will graduate from HS in May and as he says "Mom, I don't just think outside the box, I think outside the circle"! It is so true. He is a joy. A while back you mentioned struggling with dicipline vs. autism...that was/is our biggest struggle.

I took some time to read the news link and check out the 6 Degrees site and I have to say how not only incredibly thrilled, but how thankful I am, as is Aiden!, that you have made the effort to donate to a cause that is so near and dear to my heart and that we need to raise awareness about.
So good to seeing you do such good things. Two people in Brooklyn are rootin' you on.....

I have tears in my eyes right now. I am so amazed at how wonderful people can be. Ali you should be so proud of yourself for doing this and for motivating people to donate money to such a worthwhile cause.

Ali! I am so glad you are doing this for Autism Speaks. I am planning on donating in the next few days, but have already given to the Autism Society of Alabama. I have had the blessing of working with autistic children at my son's school where I subsitute teach. Even though my child does not have autism I see the struggles as well as the rewards the autism teacher at our school goes through daily with her class. Thank you for all you are doing!!
