One of my favorite movies...
Tags:of all time is RUDY. Chris and I watched it tonight - Santa left it in Chris' stocking this year. So awesome. So much about going after your dreams, working hard, and never taking anything for granted.
One of my favorite scenes is when he goes in the locker room for the first time - he is so excited and thankful and acutely aware of the history and the power of that place.
If you have never seen this one you have to put it on your list.

I LOVE Rudy!!! I originally watched the movie because I am a huge Notre Dame fan. We even named our son Irish. But after watching the movie the first time, I had a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart. I cried, and still do everytime I watch it, during the end of the movie when he walks out on the field in uniform for the first time. And when everyone is shouting RUDY, RUDY, RUDY! I highly recommend this movie for everyone.

Great movie,
It was actually on cable tv and I caught the end of it yesterday. I have seen it before. It is the type of movie you could watch over and over again.
Happy New Year

I LOVE Rudy! So glad you love it, too! That reminds me, I gotta get that soundtrack! The music is beautiful in that movie! My hubby even bought me one of those movie posters for that movie some years back! ;)

Ali,
First of all I want to say I found your site recently, and am so inspired by art and authenticity! I hope I get to attend one of your classes someday.
I've never seen Rudy, but another fottball themed-against all odds movie that you may enjoy is Invincible.
Happy Holidays, Ali, and to all who visit this site.

I LOVE Rudy. Great feel good movie (yet, I always end up crying at the end)
Another great feel good movie is "Something the Lord Made" http://www.hbo.com/films/stlm/
You must see it. I caught it by chance while channel surfing a few months back and it's one of my favorites.

I know what you mean, and the idea that it's a real story to boot. I'm like everyone else, when they carry him off the field, then they tell you just before the credits, that no one else in Notre Dame history has been carried off the field by the players since. I cry like a baby.

RUDY RUDY RUDY....
My husband's ALL Time Favorite too!
He grew up in South Bend and went to as many of the Notre Dame games as he could...even if he had to sell the programs just to get in.
Rudy Rudy Rudy (chanting...)
Merry Christmas!
