One of my favorite movies...

I also love that movie - and check this out... Rudy's brother was my driver's ed teacher! :)

As a Domer (Class of '92...GO IRISH), RUDY was mandatory viewing. I still bawl like a baby everytime I see the movie(5 times to be exact.)Maybe I'll watch it tonight.

I love that movie. I own it already. Watching it always gives me such a great feeling, that I can do anything I put my mind to. I get the same feeling from watching Miracle, which is not quite the same but I love that movie too.
My favorite part of Rudy is when all of the players give up their jerseys so that Rudy can play in the last game. I love that. Just love that they would recognize how hard he works for them and how much passion he has for Notre Dame and they would give up their spots for him.

'Rudy' is one of the all time best sports movies. My son, Eric, used to watch it all the time when he was in high school.

My DH had me watch the movie...he thought I would enjoy it and he was right! Started crying when Rudy got his letter and didn't stop until the movie was over. LOVE IT!

As part of a Domer (sister, BIL, BIL's entire family) family..Rudy is a fan favorite of our family too.
And yes..that locker room...that place, the grotto.. that campus...truly is amazing..it's something that will stay with you forever..even if you arent a domer yourself.
Everyone says the ND football teams are overrated...but go to that stadium...go to the locker room and you can feel the 'specialness' of the team, regardless of the coach or the QB.
