Love her photography - will have to show my oldest daughter who is doing art and photography in high school - these are right up her alley.
Love the snow globe - aren't they magical? Did you get your Xmas card? I don't know how long it should take to get to the states - Jess has hers.

Your Christmas drink last year with vodka and Cointreau is called a 'sea breeze!' I add ice cubes frozen with a slice of lime and a cranberry - we call them 'Christmastinis.' Cheers!!!!

What are her qualifications as a professional photographer? I couldn't find any information on her training. Is she a trained photographer or scrapbooker with a DRebel?

It reminds me of the old TV show "St. Elsewhere" -- where the show's finale intimated that the entire series had been the imagination of a child staring into a snow globe holding a hospital blanketed in snow. It is a treasured moment to catch a child staring wordlessly into a snow globe caught in the wonder of other worlds...
Enjoy.

Thanks for the link to Sabrina's work. I loved her work so much that I went out today and bought her Spilling Open book. The collage style is not my style but I REALLY connected with her work. Thank you again.

I got my CK in today and was more than ecstatic to find your typepad info ...lol I'm crying as I right this you've given me so much hope Ali ...I have been scrapping or trying to scrap for 5 years and have a son with high functioning autism...the first 4 years of his life was filled with literally hours a day of screaming meltdowns and as embarassed as I am to admit this when I found out that Simon had autism I sat unable to figure out how you had time to handle Simon's autism and do all that you do. I couldn't seem to get a pee break in during my day yet you could do so much...as I read in the new ck about Simon's improvements in language I was so beyond overjoyed to be able to relate to you and know that there are others out there just like me living in that simple moment of just waiting for our child to be able to respond back to us...anyway Sion was misdiagnosed at 3 with ADHD and then finally officially diagnosed at age 5 with the high functioning and I just wanted to come on here to tell others about the success we have had with him being on straterra though the meds become ineffective every 3-4 months and he has had to be bumped and I know there will be a time when we can no longer bump him up in dose and I know there are people who for their families do not believe in medicine but it has literally changed his life and ours. He began making strides in leaps and bounds with potty training, speech my god I hope to never forget the first time he finally said the word "Mommy" at 3 and a half and in his developmental preschool. I just wanted to offer this "idea" to those out there who may have never thought or heard of the success Strattera is having with those affected by high functioning autism. I can only pray that I can provide the kind of hope in the future for even 1 parent who has been as desperate as me in the fight. I look forward to reading through your whole site I'd heard about it in past but could never find the link here. Thank you so much Ali for sharing with the rest of something that is so personal in your life. Merry Christmas and I hope the moving in process settles for you all and Simon especially.
