Delightful.
Tags:Oh man, this is a truly delightful way to begin my day: checking out photos of Rebecca Sowers studio.
For those of you that have not had the pleasure of being introduced to her work, Rebecca is amazing. She was my biggest inspiration when I first started scrapbooking. Her first book, Life's Little Treasures is still my favorite idea book. I vividly remember laying in bed reading it and having one of those moments - a moment where you know your life is going to change.
The AEzine will be out tonight or tomorrow morning - behind schedule on a couple other projects (+ emails) that need to get taken care of today.
I'll tell you about visiting with the Governor last night later today. Totally delightful.

After looking at pictures like that I always go around my house searching for items that can be used in a different way for either my scrapbooking area/supplies or home decorating. I get a good feeling when I pull something out of a closet and use it "creatively". Got to go search now!

I just painted my studio last week and am in the process of taking out things that aren't inspiring (like scads of looseleaf, plastic containers, etc.). They don't HAVE to be stored in my space right??? Now to make it "pretty". Love Rebecca and Jenni B's studios! Thanks for the link.

I LOVE that you add links all the time to your posts. I have found some of the most wonderful and creative sites that really help me to get out of my uncreative funk! You are awesome and I wish you were my neighbor. I have a fantasy neighborhood and you just might be next door! LOL

I had to chuckle when you said you sat in bed and read Rebecca's book. That is what I do with both of yours!

I put the same link on my Blog this morning-she is such a HUGE inspiration to me-I am hoping we'll see more of her work again!
I even shuffled off to the thrift store this morning-found a great black and white OLD enamel cake pan and a funky gold shelf thing that I can spray paint black or cream.
So how is YOUR new studio coming along??

I adore Rebecca Sower and her style. She is vintage, classic, feminine, and cool all wrapped into one. I love that book and keep it handy too. She is such an inspirational artist. Those new photos of her studio are great.

Ali, Thank You SOO Much for posting the link to the photos of Rebecca's room. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE it! I, like her, tend to like old jars, cork board and such for my storage and I got some killer ideas. Not to mention her work is some of thee most beautiful, gorgeous & inspiring around!
I can't wait for the new 'Zine! I was STALKING this place yesterday to see if you had a new challenge for us! LOL

Rebecca is such an inspiration to me also. I love that the same little sticker letters from her Bookworks collection that I adore are sitting on her table in one of the studio pictures. Thanks for sharing that link with us!

Oh that was a fun fun studio! TFS that with all of us! My favs: the glass jars(wow...so many..just like a store), Beaded lamp(love, love LOVE beaded lamps of all types), and those vintage post office boxes.
WOW...brings back memories of a little town in North Dakota where my grandma lived. They had a post office with all those post office boxes and connected to it was a simple little old time malt shoppe. So fun! Love vintage stuff!
