Delightful.
Tags:Oh man, this is a truly delightful way to begin my day: checking out photos of Rebecca Sowers studio.
For those of you that have not had the pleasure of being introduced to her work, Rebecca is amazing. She was my biggest inspiration when I first started scrapbooking. Her first book, Life's Little Treasures is still my favorite idea book. I vividly remember laying in bed reading it and having one of those moments - a moment where you know your life is going to change.
The AEzine will be out tonight or tomorrow morning - behind schedule on a couple other projects (+ emails) that need to get taken care of today.
I'll tell you about visiting with the Governor last night later today. Totally delightful.

Funny, when I first found your work I pored over it and had that same feeling! Since then, not only have I become a "scrapbooker", I have also become a "life artist"...
Thanks!

I love Rebecca's work. I too have devoured "Life's Little Treasures" many times and go back to it often.
I had the pleasure of meeting her at a store event and she was just the most unassuming and sweet person imaginable.
I LOVE all the glass jars she has on the white shelves with stuff inside.
Thanks for introducing me to her blog! I will add it to my list.

Ali - I just noticed that you changed your quote. I love it. I think it brings together several of the words everyone picked for the year. Mine was simple, which is one of the threads that leads us to peace, your word. Thank you for the inspiration.
Blessings, EM

I am such a fan of RS's LLM book (and her second, underappreciated, wonderful book!) that I had it spiral bound. When I was living in a Ronald McDonald House near the children's hospital where my newborn son was for a couple of months, I was so eager to re-read it (and DH couldn't find my copy) that I bought it AGAIN online & had it shipped TO me. LOVE RS and the way that she broke down the barrier from "storytelling" to telling the real, raw stories of our lives. Good call, Ali. :)

OOPS ! Almost forgot to mention that I also developed a class curriculum based on, and using, RS's 2nd book. If you don't have it, you MUST get it!! :)
