Even Simon seems to love...
Tags:those 7gypsies self-inking stamps. I set up a stool and some paper for him across from my table (I am a stand-up scrapper) and he went to town. The red AE stamp there was designed on my computer and taken on disk to Office Max where they made the stamp for me.
Tonight I will be chatting at Designer Digitals - come by around 7pm Pacific and join in the fun.
Monday is a very big day for the Edwards. All three of us will be heading up to Salem (the state captial of Oregon) early in the AM for Chris' swearing in as a State Representative. I hope to post some updates throughout the day. As you can imagine, the camera will be in full force. I am starting to get super emotional just thinking about it...
If you are interested you can keep track of the happenings at the Oregon State Capital this session on this site run by The Oregonian.
Tomorrow there will also be a post for the one little word challenge - I can't wait to see the creative ways you are honoring your word. I am in the process of getting a gallery set up so everyone can post their AEzine challenges in one spot. It may take awhile to get it going, but know that it is in the works and it is one of my goals for the beginning of the year. In the meantime, it's easy to participate and share your creations - simply reply in the comments section of this blog with one of the following:
1. link to your blog (use the permalink option so that when people go to your site they will be taken directly to that post)
2. link to a gallery posting (both CK and Two Peas have great galleries where you can post your work) - to create a link simply copy and paste the web address where your image is located
Let me know if you have any questions - happy Sunday. Don't forget to come by the chat tonight if you have a chance.

Cute photo of Simon, love the AE stamp, never thought of making my own and taking it to Office Max.
Good luck with the swearing in, I know you are both so excited.

I take it that seven Pacific time is like the time for a city like Seatlle?
I am a belgian living in UK, so the time zones are a big thing for me. My widget says it is now around one PM in the pacific time zone of the States...
I loved the feet shot, he has ski-feet, long and small... How on earth did you get a 2.8 lens for 75 dollar? I have a nikkor 2.8 85mm and that was 500 dollar. The zoom 28-200 I really want (2.8) is 1000 dollar, so I am trying to save up. Doing a lousy job on the word path, Daily Carpe Diem did not work too well today...
I need more fonts, O, and love the idea of a webcam, I have an isight and it is wonderful. Can see my godchild in Belgium hopping up and down in her living room. Guess it would be interesting to see Simon play with it... grin

Love the idea of creating your personalized stamp. I never thought of that before. I think I'll have to give it a try.

I made it! I took the challenge and completed it on time to post it! You can find my word layout here - www.jojosoppogned.blogspot.com -
My word? Imperturbable. I need more of that in my life. More focus. Less flapping. ;-)
And making the layout helped me see I need to let other people borrow my camera more often... Thank you so much for your inspiration!

Happy Sunday to you, too, Ali. Thanks for giving all of us this creative challenge. I've chosen the word CREATE to get me off my duff personally (I create professionally all the time as a graphic designer but haven't made a dent in the pile of scrapbooking supplies I've compiled). Here is my new "work pile":

All the best,
