This was on the front page of the Living Section of The Oregonian newspaper today. According to the article there are 3,400 churches in the US and Canada who are celebrating the hymn tomorrow "in an effort to mark the 200th anniversary of the British abolition of slavery."
I love when newspapers showcase cool type designs. I think this may become inspiration for a new album about spirit. Percolating...
I received the latest issue of Somerset Studio yesterday and was excited to see an article about Keri Smith. Love her. She has been doing some really interesting daily art lately (based on create a thing a day a month). Keri has two books coming out later this year that I am excited to check out. The first, called Wreck This Journal, is available for pre-order on Amazon - looks like it will be released in June. She talks a bit about both books in the Somerset article.

I got my Somerset earlier this week and totally thought of you when I was reading the Keri Smith article. Glad to see that you get the magazine and already got a chance to read through it!
