Dear Ali,
what a wonderful memory and how sweet of your grandmother to make these lovely boxes!
I´ve been thinking about your idea of making a scrapbook page a day during Christmas - a great idea. I´ve made an Advent calendar for myself for me to finally use all those embellishmnets I´ve bought and never dared to use. I selected 24 items and put them in paper bags. I gave them to my husband and he put numbers on them and we hanged them on a string with paperclips. So for each day until Christmas Eve ( we celebrate Christmas that day in Sweden)I will make a scrapbook page using the embellishment in that days bag and a photo taken that same day. Thank you for giving us Jessicas template-I will use that for sure! Thank you also for sharing your life and art with us in your books and on yor blog!

Absolutely darling. My grandma made my sister and I matching pajama bags (in the shape of a cats head one in pink and one in blue with our names embroidered on them) Seeing your photo with that golden yellow hue, does bring back memoried.
