Found this gem tonight as I was looking through my parent's albums while working on another project.
Thank you Mom and Dad for loving to take photos.

What a great photo! My grandmother also would give us ornaments every year.. I think that is such a cool thing to do that now that she is gone... I have started doing it for my kids and neices and nephews!

Precious picture! I have to tell you that I have been blessed by your blog...thank you for all the inspiration. Me and my boys have made button trees...and I am trying to get the advent boxes done up. Working, working as it is a neat project!

Adorable! This really inspires me to create a box for Duncan's homemade ornaments (we just started making them last year, but we already need a box, heh-heh)! Thanks for this awesome share (love the photo so much)!

WHAT A TREASURE OF A PHOTO!!! TFS that, Ali!
I have an unrelated question re: the CK KOTM. I've already purchased 2 (one to keep & one to share) :-> and it's only 5am. (yay, me; up early on Saturday!)
I'm curious as to whether you had any input in designing these stamps. I know that you've already been using some on some of your projects shown here on your blog, but I *think* that I recall your mentioning something about this being 'your' KOTM?? CK isn't promoting it that way, though - which kind of surprises me if you DID contribute to it, given how quickly your kits sell out - but that was just something that was sticking in my mind and I was wondering if you feel comfortable answering??
Thanks so much and BLESSINGS this season.

I love that I'm seeing these old photos from the same time period as my childhood lately. Seeing the clothes, the type of Christmas tree decorating, the colors, etc. reminds me of my own childhood and childhood photos and they make me feel nostalgic.
