My biggest photo challenge is that .... I have so many photos now. Photos from my childhood, photos from when my kids were young until now that they are adults, plus all the new photos I have taken in the last few years with a digital camera. How do I keep them all organized, so that I can find them when I want them, to scrapbook a favorite memory. I love taking the photos but keeping them organized is such a challenge. :) thanks

My biggest challenge is remembering to take pictures of everyday life - even when they're ugly. Does that count? I also have a problem remembering what pictures I have and actually getting prints of pics I like. I would soo benefit from Stacy's book!

My number one challenge is organization of it all!!! That is one of my goals for this year... get it all organized so that I can find what I want when I want it!!

Simplicity!
What am I trying to capture? What emotion, texture, moment of time... I want each of my photos to sing their own sweet melody... without all the noise I am needlessly pushing in the frame.

I don't have a decent camera ... but I'm working on it! Love reading your daily thoughts Ali. Thanks for giving and sharing.

Falling back on using the same photos again and again. I have a few personal all time favourites and I can't resist using them again and again. They were all 'happy accidents' ie. I didn't plan on taking a brilliant photo , there just happened to be a happy co-incidence of light, setting and spontaneity. I tend not to photograph events so all my layouts are just random moments ... I need to build up my random portfolio !

My absolute biggest photo struggle is BEING AFRAID of taking pictures of things that people might find strange...or wondering why that silly girl is taking pictures of the grocery store or the street lights. I need to just get over it already!

My camera... or lack thereof! My DH had possession of it one day, and POOF! gone the next. Oh well, now I can get what I REALLY want, right? I just wish I could afford it. I'm still learning, so it's not too big of a purchase yet. In the meantime, I'm using my Mom's camera.

Hi Ali,
You are to sweet; I am thinking about getting the book myself, but am willing to give it a go through here.
My biggest photostruggle is definitely how to get it of the computer and into real life. I've got 40.000 photos on my computer and my 4-year old doesn't have a baby-album. How pathetic is that. I have not found the right way to organize and print my photos

My biggest photo struggle is focus - achieving perfect focus. Then again - maybe my biggest struggle is really expecting to get a technically great photo all the time when there are more important things.

Hi Ali,
My biggest struggle is sometimes remembering to put my camera away and just enjoy the moment. Weird I know I LOVE my camera and photography and so want to be better but sometimes a memory is more......
Oh well that is me, thanks so much for the oppourtunity, even over here in NZ of all places LOL

My biggest problem: I take between 30,000 and 50,000 photos a year. I'm usually pretty good about sorting them right away and doing back-ups but I have an absolute mountain of CDs. I also get my photos printed in bundles at the printers -- great economically, but sometimes I just want to scrap a photo right then and there.

My biggest issue is that all 3 of my backup disks are full. I have cleaned up my laptop. I got a lot of great pictures. But now need to figure out a way to get an order in processed files/raw files and nice ones and super nice ones/top star ones. I am going to keep them all as backup? What are the best foto's of the year(s) and what am I going to do with them? Wat is the best way to print and look at them (scrap/fotobook/frame/cards). What am I making for who? Thanks ali for posting this, it makes me realize that I HAVE to do something about this even if i win the book or not! I tried to sign up for the course yesterday but there was a pay pal issue, i hope that can be solved today! xoxo :D

My biggest photo struggle is to learn to keep the camera completely still when I take photos close-up (or to remember/be bothered to use the tripod!! LOL!)

Too late or still on time? But would love to win this book and give it to my husband for valentine! He is the photo-addict in our family.

My biggest problem with photographs is that I'm a wedding photographer and since my business took off I rarely get to print my personal stuff and I also take a lot less personal photos that I used to which is a little sad :(

My biggest photo struggle is that I wish I had more pictures of me...but I'm not photogenic at all so the few photos there are of me, I hate! Looking forward to the release of this book!

My biggest struggle is angle - I never really am sure about the angle to take a picture at...I always seem to struggle with that...and then I upload all my digital photos and I do not scrapbook them in a reasonable amount of time - so then that feels overwhelming!
but I think angle is my biggest struggle!!
take care
Peace--Ellie
