Struggles? So many, such a little comment box! Mostly I struggle with producing the pictures I envision in my head with the tools at my disposal! I will click and click and click but then wish I had better lighting, a better camera, and a better printer. Being paralyzed by high standards and expectations has kept me from organizing my photos and scrapbooking them. I need to unclip the leash that is holding me back from just capturing the beautiful everyday moments of life in a book for everyone to enjoy - including me!
Having a child with Down syndrome and autism and a husband deployed to Iraq, the time I have to create is only available in small blips. Always seems I just get warmed up and then it's time to clean up a poop accident!

I have many--organizing, knowing when to print, getting decent looking photos, having someone take a good picture of me . . . I am feeling overwhelmed by pictures right now!

My biggest issue is: Organization of the backed-up CD's of pics. Got a great system on the PC, not so much of those backed-up copies. They're in CD cases, but just randomly placed. But, I do have two sets (one off-site), in case of a disaster.

I have started "worrying" about what happens when I am gone... maybe funny, seeing as I am 33! :)
I don't print many of my digital photos - I keep them in folders on my hard drive (backed up twice over), and look at them there... but I don't print and place into regular photo albums.
So I wonder - what happens when I am gone? How will anyone know to look for these photos - and will they? I love looking at my parent's photos, grandparent's photos... but there won't be anything tangible for someone to look at "one day"...
So I guess I wonder - should I print them? Some, all - how should I store them - where should I begin, having been digital for five years... I don't know what would be best, or where to begin.

My biggest photo stuggle is procrastinating on taking pictures because life isn't as "pretty" as I think it should be or will be in a couple of months... so I wait. But really, that perfect moment never comes.

Mmmmm... my biggest photo struggle, other than organize my photos??? mmm.. I´ve had to say to use what I have. I always reprint, edit, reduce, enlarge... the photos I wil use for my layouts. My other struggle?? taking A LOT of them and never deleting the bad ones.

Shooting in manual! I've taken an on-line course but I can't seem to get the proper exposure when I have to choose all the settings. Even some of the settings.

How long do you have? No really...where do I start...organizing them into categories that make sense to more than me...keeping track of the names of the people and the years they were taken, and cropping them without screwing that up totally!

My biggest struggle is that I didn't date my photos for years. Now, as I go back to scrap old baby photos, I have no idea how old my daughter was in the photo!
Such a huge problem that I wish I had been better organized for! I now date them ALL on the back! Lesson learned!

My problem is simple. I can't compete with the 67,000 digital files. :-) I'm single. No kiddoes and only 24 years worth of photos under my bed.
It's just a bit sad when I know my beautiful memories aren't living up to their full potential. Enjoy today.

My biggest struggle when it comes to photography is color. I shoot digital and I can never get it to turn out the color I want without editing it in photoshop. Love your inspiration and so excited for this book!

My biggest photo struggle is actually remembering to take my camera places. I'm such a bad example of a scrapbooker - I never have enough photos to do what I want in an album. I've got a GREAT dSLR Nikon D40, but it sits at home far too often.

Over a thousand comments? I'll never win. Thankfully I can BUY the book!!! My biggest challenge is figuring out lighting. I know, that sounds goofy, but I want to get creative with lighting and I am just not that good!

I was dragged kicking and screaming into digital. Now I love my digital camera, but still take pictures with my beloved film camera, too. My biggest struggle: how to mesh those two systems so that I have a chronological flow of pictures in my regular photo albums, and all the pictures I want to scrapbook from both cameras set aside. Not to mention how I organize the digital photos I haven't printed out, how to search for pictures for special projects, etc. I'm drowing in pictures in two formats!

How on Earth will you find the time to read all of these. My biggest struggle is always wanted every single photo to be perfect. However, as i read your blog I'm starting to realize that it is not that important. But still I get the photos developed and I just feel like I'm doing something wrong.
thank you!!!

My biggest struggle is getting three small boys in a decent shot TOGETHER.
That, or letting go the expectation that it needs to be perfect....

It;s hard to pick just one problem but it's hard to figure out what do with all the photos I don't scrapbook. I'd still like them accesible for my kids to look at - need a solution.
