My biggest photo struggle - I think that it is the fact that the storage and orginazation problem just multiplies on a daily basis. The more pictures I take the more I have to organize, print, store, scrap... And since I don't have a good system in place I haven't printed pictures in over a year. I am trying to catch up with myself, but I take too many pictures to ever get caught up - and since the photo ops and memories keep coming I can't stop shooting. I need a good system and if I am not the lucky winner than I am going to order the book. Your raving review makes me want it :) Thanks Ali!

Hi Ali...first off... I just wanted to say that I find your way of scrapbooking the everyday things in life so liberating and inspiring. Thanks for keeping up with your blog too. It's a joy! :)
So...here's my problem/fear: Learning how to use my camera in the manual mode.

Hmmm... I think just getting the right / good shot. Am dreaming of a digital SLR someday and photography course to boot would be great. Would love to take photography to the next level and learn how to take some stunning shots.

I struggle with organizing my digital files. I only print what I want at the time, but I have a hard time going back and looking for specific things.
Tips for taking photos of very active boys would be great too!

avoiding blur. I despise flash and can never seem to have my camera at the perfect setting to get a non-blurred shot quickly.
p.s. I LOOOOVE your picture of the day today!

My biggest challenge is actually keeping digital photo archives in sync. Some photos are on my laptop. Some are on my husband's laptop. Some are on the home desktop. And some are in more than one place. Each of us wants access to the photos but we can't keep duplicates of everything on all the machines. There's just not enough room! And then there's the issue that all the photos I ever take seem to be tilted about 1 degree clockwise... maybe my head is permanently tipped ;-) Thanks for sharing the new book. It sounds fantastic!

The biggest photo struggle for me is figuring out a good sorting system. I've sorted by year, I've sorted by event. . . but I can never seem to find *the* photo I know I have when I need it! That could possibly be from too many years of double printing all my rolls of film!

My biggest photo struggle is lots of mediocre photos, which somehow compels me to use more of them on my layouts. When I have one stunning picture, I'm content to let it stand alone. But with two handfuls of so-so birthday party shots, I tend to use them all since none stand out above the rest. It slows down the process (cramming 12 photos on a spread can take a while!) and clutters up my pages.

Biggest struggle is keeping current with uploading photos to my scrapbookpictures.com site. I need to have a system in place where I do updates on a more regular basis so I'm not so overwhelmed when I need to upload photos.

Ooh! I could seriously use this book! What a wonderful giveaway!
I have a problem with figuring out how to organize my printed photos while they're waiting to be framed or added to a layout or just hanging out in a box someplace. On the computer they're organized okay, but IRL they're a bit more chaotic. I could really use some kind of system.

I have thousands of photos on my computer (not backed up) and I have a personal blog where I write about my family. I used to scrapbook...now I need to find a way to combine my love of photography and need to tell our story. I love digital scrapbooking, but again...I don't have the time right now to devote to singular layouts.

I find that since digital came along, I tend not to get as many photos printed out and this causes a problem when I am "ready and able" to scrapbook because I don't have photos ready to work with.

What to do with them all?!?
How to organized them?
How to archive them?
How to know what is on each CD....

I think that my biggest struggle when it comes to pics is that I take to many and then I have the challenge of weeding through them and finding the best ones to scrapbook.

That's easy ... getting a decent photo of a 2 year old!
2 year olds never still and they find it really funny if they move just as you're about to take a photo.
I don't know how many photo's it takes to get a good one, but most of them these days are just a blur!
