my biggest photo struggle is making sure I have photos of me and my husband. We don't have to be in the photos together--although that would be wonderful too-- but it is clear that we lots of photos of our children, and barely any of us. I need to make sure we are included, show that we existed in these scrapbooks, in our life, and to remember to document our daily adult things as well as our 3 childrens.
thanks for the giveaway!!!

processing my RAW photos and ordering prints. I need to schedule my time to do this!! Then, I won't be frustrated when I want to scrap and can't find the photo I want right then!!

I love to take pictures, but I really don't know how to edit them well. I take a million photos of my sweet son. I waited a long time to adopt him and so I remember how it was to long for him and try to savor every minute of our life together that I can. I just wish I understood how to use PE to my advantage beyond basic red eye fixes, etc. I don't print/use a lot of my pictures for this reason.

Definitely my greatest photo problem is taking pictures indoors. Awful results! As far as organizing, I really need to figure out a system for our digital photos.
Thanks!

my biggest photo struggle is taking them! I always forget my camera because I'm a Dory! I always think to myself "oh this would be a great thing to take a picture of" but my camera will be at home.

My biggest struggle like many others is I take so many pictures- and they sit on the computer- how do I pick which ones to scrapbook....and I feel I'm so far behind, where do I begin? Should I start on today or start with the past 3 years I haven't scrapbooked. I need organization! :)

lol okay wow, there are a lot of comments on here, but I thought I would give it a go. I am glad you asked this question, because I am seriously stuck on photography. The problem with me is taking the best photos of my daughter and using scenery or my busy home to my advantage. Also, my husband hates having his picture taken, but he does so many amazing things and I am hoping to eventually document him and the work he does in church ministry. Oh and taking pictures of my daughter and even having pictures of me in there somewhere. lol! A lot of struggles!
Thanks Ali! I look forward to your posts everyday. Blessings!

My biggest and consistent photo struggle is when it comes to taking pictures I'm always looking for a new perspective.
A fresh and different perspective keeps me active on "the hunt" for the perfect shot.

Knowing what all the bells and whistles do! I'm such an amatuer when it comes to photography. I'd be lost without point and shoot!

I would love to win a copy! I think my biggest photo struggle is when it's dusk outside....you want to capture the essence of the evening and the sky and all of that, but the other things in the photograph are not visible enough.
As far as organization of photos go, I would have to say having so many pictures that I love that I never do anything with.

Hi, Ali! Thanks for doing the contest; I'm excited to see the book since you're so impressed by it.
I have trouble finding the time to write on the back of them--this is *so* important to me. There are boxes and boxes of pictures from my childhood and, more importantly, my heritage and no one knows who they are (or who everyone is) or when they were taken. Grr. I suppose it would be easier to get done if I took less pictures....:)

I have all sorts of struggles with photos too! First, since I started digital, I printed just a few photos. Last year, I'd say I have just 50 pictures or something, of the over thousand ones I took (I haven't counted, but anyway!).
Second, I need to focus more on WHAT to shoot. I just shoot everything. I need to be more selective and then I won't burn down my whole HD... I do keep backups, but I'd freak out if something happened to my pictures and I have none printed...
THANKS, Ali! You rock!

My biggest struggle is not having my camera with me at every turn and forgetting to take photos at some events because I am having so much fun. No doubt I still have a TON of photos but not always the ones I wished I had.

my biggest photo struggle is lighting. weather it's the white balance or iso or time of day - it gives me the most guff.
also sometimes my shots can be a little grainy/noisy. :(
