Hi Ali.....
I would have to say that my biggest struggle is maintaining a clear picture of my digitals....I tend not to print them out and then have hard time locating them for later or just forget all about them.
Thanks

Hmm. My biggest photo struggle is just taking the picture in general. I've been working with an awful camera and finally got a new one for christmas, but the thing is so darn complicated I can't figure it out! Thanks for making me aware of the book, I'm going to have to pick it up!

HI Ali
i have a new camera (panasonic Lumix and i am struggling with 'programming' it. What means shutterpriority, AF etc? And in what situation do I use it? Then I want to learn to work with Photoshop this year. Okay, now ready for action or I miss the deadline!

Biggest struggle is actually getting the camera to work the way I want it to and THEN getting the organized into my computer and THEN actually backing everything up on a monthly basis. I'm a lazy organizer.

My biggest struggle is that I don't just automatically print them out because I don't really put them in photo albums. But I do think I'd be much more likely to scrap them if they were sitting in my hands. Without them printed, I feel like there's longer to go to get them scrapped, and I just get lazy and don't take the time to do it. Ugh.
Thanks for the book giveaway!
I don't post much, but your blog is the first one I check for updates.

I don't feel like I have good systems in place for getting photos organized once they are printed. I also have a hard time deciding which pictures to scrap and which ones to not scrap (and what to do with the pictures I don't scrap).
Help!

My biggest struggle would definitly have to be learning to love a "single" photo or "single imperfect shot" instead of taking a million and having them sit on my camera or computer for months and months. I have to really learn to just be content with my impulsive first shot...whether it be perfect or imperfect because really it was at that moment where I had the urge to capture this moment...not the other 20 i had decided to take after. I have to remember less is really more...especially with photos. Oh yeah...and also getting through my head that I will NEVER scrapbook all of them...and it is OK!!!!!

My biggest struggle is organization. It is very overwhelming to have all those shots even after dumping the "bad" ones!

Dealing with the ho hum photos. It feels great to take a great picture (in my case luck has a lot to do with it) and the great pictures are so much easier to scrapbook - they seem to inspire. But the ho hum photos are challenging and unfortunatly they are not usually of ho hum moments so scrapbooking them is important.

My biggest struggle right now is changing over to my new Canon Digital Rebel - i love my old camera and getting photos developed at the photo store. Now, I have to find a new system to print and store images, and learn my new camera. It's exciting and scary!

My biggest photo struggle is capturing everyday life. I have a hard time figuring out what to pictures to take. Sometimes things seem so mundane. Yet, sometimes it's those things that I wish I had pictures of from my childhood.

My biggest photo struggle is organization. I bought some cute little photo boxes, but they just don't work for me. I need to be able to SEE my photos if I'm going to use them.
I'd love to have a copy of Stacy's new book!

To just capture the moment and not worry so much about the background, dirty faces, or uncombed hair.

My biggest struggle is having the "right" picture to match a layout I want to do. I'm still working with 35mm and will have an idea for a page with no photo to go along with it. I then try to take a good photo and am disappointed when I get my film developed.

Where do I start? Basically, my kids do cute things way more frequently than I get to scrapbook. So, the number of photos I have is truly staggering. Couple that with the fact that they are digital photos that need to be "fixed" and then printed, well, it's almost enough to make me want to stop scrapbooking. Sad, but true. Somedays, the whole process is overwhelming. HELP!!

Shutter delay (and children): OR "I have not yet won the camera of my dreams". (I do, however, have all the children I need.)

Hi Ali.....
I would have to say that my biggest struggles are maintaining a clear picture of my digitals, as don't print them out or print pix all that often and then have hard time locating them for later or just forget all about them AND my other dilema is getting my hubby in the photo, it seems almost all the pix I take are of out daughter, I rarely get in the shot but do self pix often, but the hubby hates the camera, so it's challenging at times!
Thanks!

Hi Ali - I just love your blog - I have to read it as often as I can.
My biggest photo struggel is getting the right lighting. And I wish I was better at digital editing my pictures. I love taking pictures of my kids and scrapbooking it - but there are not a lot of pictures of me, and I know I am not the only mum with that problem ;o)
