The biggest struggle I have with photos is actually getting them organized enough to where I can print them and use them to document the everyday life that inspires the pictures in the first place! I really want to be able to get past the picture taking and move on to the documenting part.

    Hi Ali,
I have not put a picture to paper in months. My photos are just so scattered and without a system in place it is impossible to work. I keep taking pictures and journaling my ideas and memories but for the most part I am truly stuck!
I would also like to say I LOVE your site, thank you. Mary, VA

My biggest photo struggle is finding the time to learn how to use my camera properly. I have a new Nikon D80 & it has lots of groovy functions...I just haven't had time to use yet.

    Aaah....so wanting this book, Ali!!!!
My biggest photo struggle? 1. Being able to afford all the pictures I want. Can't go out and spend lots of money developing all of them...
    2. Being behind in developing pictures...still developing Baby 2's 1st birthday...and he is 2.5! Want to scrap more "everyday" pages, but I also feel like I need to scrap all those early milestones...first steps, first birthday cake, etc...
    LOVING your blog!

My biggest challenge is organization...deciding which photos to scrap and what to do with the rest of the thousands of photos.

My biggest photo problem is picking out the best photos from all that I take. How do you see the image through someone else's eyes, someone who has no personal attachment to it. It's really hard to separate yourself from your own images...........and be objective.

My biggest problem is taking so many! Then they aren't organized but just all shoved in there. I wish that I had written more the event at the time because my memory has faded. I need to find a way to record about the event and do better journaling, because I can get way too caught up in the artistic part of creating a page, yet I know down the road I'll want to know what happened.

Deleting bad photos and getting them scrapped! Also I am very bad at organizing them...they stay in the little envelopes that they come in almost until I scrap them.

oops, I forgot to say what my biggest problem was.......I take WAY too many photos. Over 3000 last year. It's only going to get worse with my new XTi

My biggest struggle is being in the moment instead of always wanting to document it on photo. I love taking pictures, but sometimes I miss what is going on because I am taking pictures/trying to get that "perfect shot". I realize this isn't a "traditional" issue with photos (like need to print/categorize/etc) but this seems to be on my mind right now.
Thanks for the chance to win a book!

My biggest struggle is figuring out how to get just the right lighting in my photos...and making time to figure out how to use the various different features on my camera. These are some of the things I plan to tackle this year which falls right in line with my one little word for the year - "Do."

My biggest photo issue is lighting indoors! I have an external flash and when I use it I put my subjects in a big shadow..still working on it.

I can't seem to find boyish pattern paper that complements or accents my photos! Second biggest challenge is getting them printed and then into albums or scrapped.

My biggest struggle is finding a different perspective. I feel like my photos are terribly unoriginal and they all tend to look the same.

My biggest struggle with photos is deleting even the awful, out-of-focus ones. I guess erase is not my strongest function!! Therefore I have a gazillion photo files!

Can you believe you have over 1700 comments! How popular are you?! My biggest problem is that I get into phases where I just forget to take photos and miss out big chunks of our life Then when I start again I take too many to make up for it!

Where do I begin?? My biggest struggle probably is lack of organization-from getting photos printed to doing something with them once I get them developed.

My biggest photo struggle right now is trying to get my 18th month old to stay still long enough to get a shot taken. She is just so busy, but with her, I am learning to clebrate the everyday moments and the little things that happen along this incredible journey of parenthood and life.
    Thanks for this drawing!

First off: would def like a Rebel Xti to take the great photos.
Secondly: need an amazing printer here @ home instead of relying on uploading them to somewhere to be printed.
I realize these may not be "true struggeles", so at the top of my list will be: need more creative perspective sometimes.
    Thanks Ali, you rock girl!

I guess my biggest struggle with photos would be taking time to download them all off my camera to my computer. I really need to do this so I can get back into my "scrapping" muse.
