The words.

Went through all the comments from the last few days tonight and collected all the words. Reading your words + your reasons were uplifting + inspiring. Thank you for sharing. If I missed your word leave a note in the comments section and I will add it to this list.

And there is always time to choose a word if you have not done so yet.

I forget to reply with my word! I saw forms of it - but mine is "intention" as in "live with intention." Last night I did an art journal entry with my "one little phrase" and did a visual reminder by my desk - so fun.

    My one word: love.
Lots of words about the one word (and how much I loved doing this last year) here: http://creativeorganizing.typepad.com/creative_organizing/2008/01/my-word-my-word.html
    Thanks, Ali, for the inspiration!!

The List is awe inspiring. My word for 2008 is FAITH. Funny...the topic at church today was FAITH. I am a fairly new Christian and I want to explore and invest in my FAITH, in God, in others and myself. I love your Blog Ali, and I love learning. What a wonderful way to start the new year with a focus. Walking in FAITH. Sheri

I hadn't picked mine yet, but the "core" word was on the list and reminded me. :-)
Mine is more of a phrase: Just Do It. Yeah, cliche slogan, I know, but that is always my problem! I KNOW what to do, but now I have to actually DO it. :-) Thanks for the inspiration. I know it must be exhausting sometimes, draining in a way, but I hope it also can energize you... that knowing what you do for other people can in some way return the favor...

I think my word for 2008 is "Believe" because sometimes I have a hard time believing in myself or what my children can really do. Santa bought me your book for christmas and since then I have referred a forum of scrapping girls who all have autistic/asperger's kids to your book for this site. This week I warned my ds to stay out of the slow lane at the local pool because I didn't think he could swim a lap, well lo and behold he swam two laps, not the best style but who cares so I need to believe in my children.

It's taken me a whole week this year to choose a word. The year ahead contains some big planned changes for me:- building a new home, starting a new career (I hope) & starting a family. However I also have a strong sense of unplanned changes that will affect & surround me this year. I don't know how I will react to these changes if & when they do come however I would like to think I can EMBRACE them. This is my word for 2008.

Wow what a great list of words.
    My choice is TRY.
There are so many times I pass up doing something because I am sure it won't turn out right, so this year 'try' will be what I tell myself.
    Think of the possibilities.

A little late to pick mine too, but I chose AMBITION. Pursuing a photog business, reaching my goal weight, and doing more for others...all things I want to do with ambition this year. Awesome list, thanks for the inspiration Ali! :)

Ali, this year I had trouble thinking of a word until I read the list. The one word that jumped out at me was balance.
Thankyou for putting together an inspiring list of words.

    and,
    my word: Brighten
as in: to brighten days, to bring light or understanding to the things I do, we do, as a family, to strive to show the positive side in things. sharing and showing in order to understand.

This has really inspired me to have one word..something I have never done before.
My word is HEALTHY. I want to develop healthy habits, work on having a healthy self-esteem, keep my relationships healthy, and focus on doing things that meet my needs for mental health, social/emotional health, and physical health. I am excited! thank you so much!

I didn't see my word, DISCOVER, on the list! I left you a comment on one of the first days you mentioned the idea of picking a word for the year! I love the idea and can't wait to create some projects with my word.
