Go dog, Go! is a classic. This was one of the first books each of our four kids read. Love the low light shot. I may use it for a bedtime story layout--along with the good party hat!
Love it - this is always such a good time of the day - love the reading at bed time. Brody is currently into Chicka Chicka Boom Boom - I think because of how much he loves letters. Has to duplicate the tumbled down letters on the fridge!!!
And PS had a great quiet weekend - snowed in!!! and cold.

A wonderful photo! :) Just wanted to leave a note to say hi and let you know I read your blog regularly but don't often post. Thanks for the inspiration here.
what a lovely glimpse. these are the moments i think i would miss the most.how lovely to capture this small tender moment , and i love the lighting. it really feels like home.
That was my all time favourite book when I was a kid. My kids *love* it too. We have a newer printing, but I still have my tattered, totally falling apart copy that I sometimes read to them. Memories...
In an effort to capture some of my "everyday life" I recently took pics of my son's video game systems (yes, plural), his movies and his "bachelor pad" (aka: our downstairs family room that is now a studio apartement...he's 23). I also took my camera to work and took pictures of my desk and work area at my office.
Thanks for the encouragement to document more than just the "events" in my life. I often forget that it's really the small, everyday things, that are the TRUE fabric of my life, and that will be the legacy my children will take with them into their lives.

what a sweet picture. It makes me want to cuddle up to my daughter and read a ton of books with her.
