2004 Reflections & 2005 Intentions.

Tags:

Thanks Andrea for the inspiration to create these lists. I so agree that we should be inspired by our intentions rather than be bogged down by resolutions of deprivation.

Things I learned in 2004:

• life goes on
• life is more simple and more complicated all in the same breath
• one beautiful boy is enough for our family
• I like to work
• I like to travel
• childcare is ok
• spending is my greatest challenge: credit is not my friend (I am continually learning this)
• we are rewarded with blessings by nurturing our strengths and focusing on what we love

10 Things I am grateful for:

1. healthly me & healthy family
2. making it through
3. the opportunity to write a book
4. our home
5. Chris: opening himself to his true self
6. friends
7. Simon's school
8. my creative career
9. my parents love and care of Simon
10. coffee

10 Things I intend to create for myself in 2005:

1. I intend to get outside more.
2. I intend to learn about the places I travel for work.
3. I intend to make healthy choices for myself.
4. I intend to get down on the floor with Simon more.
5. I intend to make time to read again.
6. I intend to have a romantic, relaxing getaway with Chris more than once.
7. I intend to tell my parents again how thankful I am for them.
8. I intend to challenge myself and my creative style.
9. I intend to learn more about meditation and begin practicing.
10. I intend to keep my focus on what is really important: my family.
11. I intend to breakout of my financial debt and live on a cash basis.
12. I intend to listen to more music.
