what a cool giveaway
i love studio calicos kits,
My favourite thing about memory keeping at the moment is recording my life right here and right now.
I am almost 18.
and i can't wait to be old and grey and looking back at my memories and thoughts from when I was entering adult hood.
I'm sure I will be glad to have been keeping and recording these memories 20 years from now and when I have a family of my own i am sure that they will love it now.
and...as a side note who doesn't love playing with paper and paints?
LOL

My favorite aspect right now is a constant reminder to myself to cherish the everyday moments. It also helps me work out any parental "doubts" I might be having!

Lately my favorite thing about memory keeping is how I am inspiring others to do the same. My husband's family recently asked me to do a heritage-type album of their family Christmases over the years. Watching the relatives look at the book reminds me why I do this...memories are important and the pictures are treasures of our past.

I am loving mini albums right now to document events like graduation, Summer vacation, etc. I like documenting recent events in a quick manner so I can have something to share with others. Shelley

My favorite thing is knowing that my kids will have a record of the daily activities of our family. My grandparents are all elderly and there are so many things I want to know about what their lives were like. That won't be a problem for my future grandkids!

Before I was a mom I had all the time in the world to make art but now days time is much more limited for projects. Memory keeping allows me to incorporate daily artistic endeavors into my life while creating meaningful work that my son can look back on and know how I felt about him and our life.

Hello Ali,
The best thing about keeping memories for me is that when I have children, they can look back and see who their mother and father where. Plus, when we are old, we can look back and cherish our memories.

I just moved, so my favorite thing right now is sorting through the two boxes I found in my attic of photos from my childhood I didn't realize I had. It's like a new treasure box!

I just went to my second weekend crop and worked on a mini-album for my oldest daughter called "college to work". All about her college graduation last year, acquiring her first job in her field, finding a new apt and making it her own. My other daughter is entering college in August...chronicling all these important events and the everyday things about them are so important for me right now and for them (and they scrapbook as well :)

My grandson Peter is my favorite thing about memory keeping. At 15 months, he is living his life in fast forward and little stop-motion memory of his baby life has value beyond price.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now are simply the memories. My daughter is almost 13 years old and she loves looking at the pictures of herself as a baby and reading the stories of what she was like. I enjoy this because I get to watch her reaction to them and live it all over again.
I'm so happy I stumbled upon scrapbooking and started keeping up with it. I know someday down the road when I'm old and grey, having these albums and other things I've put together will be worth their weight in gold.

Hi Ali What an awesome kit.....my favorite thing is seeing my 2yr olds face when we look back at his baby albums. He loves seeing how he has grown also we have been working on his very own family album that he can do with whatever he chooses.

Alzheimer's runs in my family, so I'm hoping a little (or a lot) of memory keeping in a creative way will not only leave me and my family books of memories, but will also stimulate a creative part of the brain that will fend off the disease. Thanks for the opportunity to win a cool giveaway-looks neat! Erin :)

Hi Ali! Besides the creative outlet, my favorite thing about memory keeping is the ability to look back at treasured memories and show the pictures and stories to loved ones.

My favorite thing about memory keeping? It's very simple. The fact that a hundred years from now, I can still tell my story. I have a piece of me for my children, and grandchildren, and generations after to enjoy and know me. ME. Me and my handwriting, my family, the things that were important to ME.

For me right now it's taking pictures. I come from a family that did not record anything. It's very sad for me, because I did not get the chance to meet my grandmother, because she died when I was young. My father did not have one picture of his parents, brothers and sisters. My mother is the same way. I have know clue about any of my family members. I promised myself I would not do this to my children. I want them to know everything about me and our family. Please look at me like I am crazy for caring my camera everywhere I go.
Marta :)
